It might be good for him to play the 2 Morocco games coming up (assuming they are still on and not cancelled) to build his match fitness and sharpness and ensure he gets back to 100% as soon as possible. Otherwise, it could be tough to use those competitive games next month as pre-season games for him.

Winning the FA Cup really didn't make much of a difference from a financial POV. Arsenal got only £3.6 million from winning it last season and let's not forget, we're talking about a club that also cut 55 jobs to save some extra/little money.
