  1. Yup, talk about a colossal fuck-up by Mercedes! And the race is so much more fun and unpredictable without Hamilton being in it...
  2. The point is that no team should be throwing away a 3-goal lead at this level and the other one they got fucked by the referee because IIRC, it shouldn't have been a penalty. Different scenarios from what happened with us in those games.
  3. As @Milan pointed out some weeks ago, it's scary to think that they could have been further ahead had they not contrived to throw away a 3-goal lead against West Ham and the referee not given a controversial penalty to Newcastle.
  4. Debate about Mourinho's football is already floating about...
  5. I'd rather Arsenal win this than Spurs. Arsenal will still go nowhere even they win this while a Spurs win will still keep them top and inflate Mourinho's ego even further. And we need someone to drop out of the Top 4!
  6. Liverpool v Spurs coming up very soon...
  7. It's bizarre, isn't it? It's almost as if he's trying to prove a point.
  8. They may/will get the short term joy but we all know that kind of football won't go anywhere in the long term. Moreover, Kane and Son are seriously outperforming their numbers this season. If they slow down or suddenly get injured, then they will be fucked.
  9. You laugh now but watch us go bottle it against them on Boxing Day...
  10. Different manager but same old BS from Arsenal. How do they keep on falling into the same trap against Mourinho!?
  11. It's really stupid how this Spurs aren't all that great or WOW but are up there because Kane and Son are somehow putting up peak-Messi/Ronaldo esque numbers this season. Both for example are outperforming xGs by A LOT.
  12. Son's xG in the Premier League this season so far is only 3.42...but he has scored 10 goals. How sustainable is that gonna be?
  13. Even if Sheffield United still have Henderson now, I don't think what they did was gonna be sustainable. They didn't concede many goals last season but they also didn't score a lot either and they don't have that one star player or a reliable goal scorer to get them out of trouble - a bit like Zaha at Palace, who don't score and concede many goals under Hodgson. Below is their xG comparisons: 2020/21 xG - 11.96 Goals Scored - 5 xG Conceded - 16.62 Goals Conceded - 18 2019/20 xG - 43.93 Goals Scored - 39 xG Conceded - 50.97 Goals Conceded - 39
  14. If we don't win this = #LampardOUT!
  15. To be fair, it is only 11 games into the season even though we are already into December. One assumes the likes of Wolves, Southampton, West Ham will drop off a bit in the next few games but it's the other 4 teams in the Top 5 that is kinda concerning. Not much separating us and Spurs, Liverpool, Man United and Man City in that section and the latter two teams have a game in hand. Never mind the title race, this top 4 race could be a dogfight too! We really need to make sure we pick up maximum points over the next few games since there are United v City and Liverpool v Spurs coming up.
  16. Pretty sure he took a kick or something along those lines for the first injury at Brighton.
  17. The change in personnel is one thing but we were also too open defensively as a team last season. We were too easy to play against, which was a problem and that was compounded by poor individuals in defence. This season and of late, we have looked far more solid and have more balance in the side. I mean, how many basketball-esque games have we been involved this season compared to last season?
  18. Chris Wilder has really rattled Klopp.
  19. If that was last season, it would have probably been P26 and W26 for Leeds. But we are different this season.
  20. It has come to the point where I am just praying Pulisic escapes unscathed after each game, knowing how fragile that hamstring of his is. His workload also needs to be managed carefully.
