  1. Funny that Mourinho got sacked and it's not even the biggest news in football right now. Really not sure which big club would hire him anymore.
  2. This team has too much potential to be playing a pragmatic style.
  3. Nothing since the start of 2020 has made sense...
  4. Funny thing with UEFA is that they're supposedly about to announce a revamp of the competition, with more teams etc this week. So by announcing the Super League, those 12 clubs are basically taking FIFA, UEFA, every football leagues head on in a war.
  5. What's the point of even playing our remaining games this season? And all the effort, hardwork put in by the players in past games will be for fucking nothing!
  6. But what IF they do kick the teams out this season? Then what? Then what was the point of those wins over Atletico and Porto? All the players' effort will be for nothing! All our dream/hope of winning our second CL title will go down the drain because of greed!
  7. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
  8. My point is what IF this just replaces the CL and clubs can still play in their domestic leagues? What's the difference then besides the revenue?
  9. What's the difference with the current setup then?
  10. https://www.thesuperleague.com/ The website is even up now... And the logo is seriously shit for something that has been planned for years...
  11. I meant in general. Nothing to do with specific games. Yes, we are seeing elements of Tuchel's management style - the pressing, the counter pressing, the possession game etc - but the setup has largely been pragmatic. We have not seen the best(?) of Tuchel's playing style that he's renowned for at previous clubs.
  12. Because there's greed? Because there's no integrity in this? You could say that there's corruption in football now anyway but this Super League thing takes the cake. And moreover, IF FIFA ban players in the Super League from playing for their country, in World Cups and European Championships, how would they react?
  13. But at the same time, do we really want to watch Chelsea vs Barcelona say 4 times a year? Remember how people moaned in the past about certain clubs always face each other in the Champions League - e.g. Arsenal v Bayern? At some point, the allure of those big fixtures will be gone in the Super League and we'll be looking at those games like Burnley v West Brom. And it's also why our tie against Real Madrid feels big, special etc because we have rarely played them in Europe.
  14. Scenes when managers and players leave the clubs because of this...
