Fair enough but you're really wasting your time getting pissed at something as trivial as Torres. Not worth it.
-
Well, DUH! Who doesn't want that?! But realistically, assuming he stays, can you really see Mourinho won't use him even once awhile? He will be 2nd or 3rd choice but would likely still be used, like it or not. When he does, we gotta just hope (clutching at straws hope) he turns up. It's not like we have any expectations on him to begin with.

Chill out mate. Don't think anyone is saying Fabregas will magically turn Torres to what he was at Liverpool again. Like others have said, if Torres is sold, then YAY! If not, we gotta just hope he does something IF/WHEN he plays because as much as we would want Mourinho to just let him rot in the reserves or the bench, he's likely gonna be used once in awhile. The hope here is for the team's sake rather than anything to do with Torres himself. We all know he's finished.

It's the same with every player and manager, no? That is why we are all sitting down here and expressing our views on the situation, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the player in question and see if he's compatible with the style of the manager. It's all just opinions, views, debates.

Don't count the chickens before they hatch mate.

Just to add to the point above, between Koke and Fabregas, would rather see us go for the former. They are both playmakers/creators but at least with Koke, we already know that he shouldn't have much problem fitting into the demands of Mourinho and given Simeone's style isn't too dissimilar. With Fabregas, it's almost like we have to remodel a player entirely.

"Thank you boss. #legend #lampard #boss #8."

Indeed. Fabregas's idea of how football should be played and how he wants to play contradict to the qualities and ideas of Mourinho. It just seem odd. The last time we had a Spanish playmaker, things didn't exactly go all too well either...

We all watched Fabregas but the point is, how many of those people watch it as often as a Barcelona fan would to know exactly Fabregas's strengths and weaknesses? I do think an even more in-depth thought should have been obtained but yeah. And while Barcelona are famously known for their 4-3-3, they did tweak their formation and setup a little under Tata Martino last season. They didn't necessarily just stick with the same old 4-3-3 in every game.

Players Torres outlasted at Chelsea... 1. Mata 2. Luiz 3. Lampard 4. Cole (possibly)

From the club's megastore...

Meh. Hazard may like the No.10 shirt but would have rather see him continue to wear No.17 and make it worthwhile. Then again, we might just see switch from the Bosingwa mode to Mata.
-
Would be funny if we get Fabregas and give him the No.8 shirt... Sensitive much? Firstly, don't think mediator meant anything else than to just share the views from a fan of a club that arguably watches and know more about Fabregas than we do. And really, it was just an opinion related piece. Don't get the overreaction here or the need to take things so seriously on the Internet.
-
Considering the season has just ended, best to just let others panic and randomly talk about this. It's funny and we need some excitement around here...

In case, you know. In case...

TBF, Cole's departure hasn't even confirmed (yet)...

Scored a lot of great quality goals but chose the following due to sentimental reasons (and its importance).. 1. That penalty against Liverpool in the UCL semi final just after his mother had passed away. Don't think I've even been more emotional towards a goal, at least from the sadness perspective. 2. The goal at Villa Park that made him the club's leading all-time goalscorer (and securing UCL football in the process). Went mental after that. 3. Goal at Bolton to seal the league title. Don't think need to add anything else here. In terms of quality goals, inclined to agree with most pointed out above but surprised nobody mentioned his ridiculous chip goal against Hull. Sheer class.

Cannot believe this thread has to be moved into the 'Ex-Blues' section. Guess Lampard leaving was gonna happen sooner or later but it's gonna feel quite indifferent and even alien like watching the team without Lampard being around. Almost impossible to even think of a word to describe what Lampard means as a player (and person) to Chelsea. Thank you Frank. You're an absolute legend.
