His slow start at Atletico was somewhat expected. Joined a club with different environment and a playing style much different to Real Sociedad's. He's not exceptionally strong but still decent enough. I mean, you're not going to survive in a Simeone's side if you are physically weak.
That may be true but it still doesn't take away the fact that he hasn't done anything of note. In fact, it appears he's even struggling to cope with the physical demands of the Premier League. That's likely why Mourinho has hardly used him and he's said he will only come to the fore next season. I doubt we'll see Cuadrado start a game until we have sealed the title.
The thing is, Sunderland are doing just OK at the moment and their run-in is horrendous - Southampton(H), Everton(A), Leicester(H), Arsenal(A) and Chelsea(A).
Robbie Savage's reason on why Kane should have won the PFA Player of the Year is amusing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC0NwRptJfs There are really too many BS pundits around these days.
Considering Mourinho has hardly been awarded the Manager of the Month, I would be surprised if he wins the Manager of the Year. On the other hand, Alan Pardew could win that. He's practically helped to keep 2 teams in the division (think Newcastle are just about safe).
Garry Monk and Swansea really do not get enough credit for their achievement this season. Sitting comfortably in mid-table and set a new club record for league points tally on Saturday and not to mention, this is Monk's first full season in charge in the Premier League.
I know Oscar might not make it for Wednesday but I don't get why people think Cuadrado will start. He has looked out of his depth whenever he's been given the chance and we still need points to seal the title. Suspect Mourinho would just make one change from the XI that played against Arsenal - Costa or Drogba to come in for Oscar.
