  1. Haha, I was very pessemistic when the draw was annouced, But I actually think we have a shot now with the game in just under 12 hours, All the pressure is on Tyrone which very very mediocre Longford and Armagh tested, and I'm not quite sure whether there back line can handle Kilbride and Shine IF David O'Gara is playing, Because O'Gara really is a key player for us. Saying that, We do need a huge performance. I'd expect Kildare to beat Donegal comfortably aswell. I'm in the Cusack anyway, Just hoping for 3 decent games!
  2. Those this really warrant its own thread? I'm sure 99% of the forum either couldn't give a shit about it or never heard of him.
  3. Yeah definatly, There'll be a huge crowd from Roscommon and Donegal there I'd imagine, The Roscommon minors are playing their Al Quater final there at 3 so that will attract alot of interest, the second time the minors will play their this year after they played there Connaght quater final against New York there! As for us and Tyrone, I think it will be won by a few points either way. Everyone is writing Roscommon off after the Mayo game but the weather was atrioucious, You couldn't play football in it. If they get ball into Shine and Kilbride in the full forward line I could actually see us pulling it off But I do think Tyrone will win by 2 or 3 points. As for Kildare and Donegal, I'm fully expecting Kildare to go out and absouletly wallop them, and win by atleast 5, Donegal are not a good side and won in my view a poor Ulster championship. I'm looking forward to seeing Kildare, I can see them winning the AI this year tbh. Looking forward to the day though, Hope the minors win and if the seniors give a good account of themselves I'll be happy. What do you think about the games?
  4. I will not mention the Roscommon Mayo game because i do not want to talk about it, I was on TV though! You heading to Croker on Saturday mate?
  5. Not only is he a DM, he's very creative, He would work well in the same midfield with Pastore i'd feel, with both of them creating space, They could turn out like Xavi and Inestia for us. People say we already have Romeu and Mikel, Romeu is still very young and Mikel offers little in creativty which is what we need. If we sign him and it turns out to be the end of Mikel, so be it.
  6. Gonna miss this one I think, Our Debs(Nicola, IB and CFCMeleady will know what I'm on about) so I'm going drinking all day
  7. He could easily slot into the centre, With Ramires operating more defensive and Lampard playing the box to box role, with late runs into the box, Or he could play on the right of the 4-3-3, Drifting inside.
  8. About time, I'm excited about the fact he said 'atleast two', I can see us bringing in 5-6 new players before the transfer deadline shuts, Pastore and Lukaku next week, 2 more young players overtime and Hulk on deadline day.
  9. I honestly believe this will be the greatest signing the club has made since Lampard if it goes through. He's everything we need, Young, Creative and gives a decent delievery from free kicks and corners. He'd fit in at the centre of the 4-3-3, with Lampard and Ramires, going forward and spreading balls around the place. Get it done Roman! 10. I feel myself and many others on the forum have contributed to it, Posted well, and always expressed our opinions, But we don't go around bitching and moaning about not being made legends!
  11. Well done BluesChick, Madmax, LDN, We Hate Scouse and Terminator X...Oh wait...
  12. Good, its the bday today, Finally legal!
  13. Smalling and Phil Jones were bought for a combined £26m though.
  14. These teams don't have the quality of English youth as we have i.e McEachran, Bertrand, PvA, Sturridge etc
  15. Had a friends 18th on Friday night, Got hammered, didn't get home till half 9, had a few mates round to watch the Haye fight on Saturday and just about to head out now, It will get messy!
  16. Haha Tony Cascarno, Our rival club went into that a few years ago, There manager was a guy no one ever heard of! Some journalist!
  17. I have a Blackberry myself, and it really depends what your looking or in a phone. The qwerty keyboard is brilliant, but i find on my curve that the buttons are smallish. If your a business person, a blackberry is a way to go, If you want a phone for fun, you go for an iPhone. I'd much rather an iPod over a MP3 player aswell.
  18. Get in Klitschko, just a few things about the hillarious coverage 1. Borris Becker actually likened Boxing to a Tennis match. 2. George Foreman had the fight level in the 10th round 3. Apparently Haye got hit in his left nose!
  19. Who's watching it then? Come on Klitschko!
  20. I read the co title and didn't bother reading your post. To suggest a 27 year old is a finished article is just nonsense.
  21. You have to take into account that up to that, Millito wasn't a great striker, Eto'o was in a terrible run of form for them and only scored two goals in their European campaign, as for Maicon, well we all saw what Bale did to him. Sniejder was definatly world class that season and still is, But the fact is that Mourinho tacticly outclassed Ancelloti and Guardolia. He also won the Champions League with an above average at best Porto team, put granted they had a very easy path to the final, Only getting a win over a United team that were in turmoil that season.
