Yea, he had a decent game against them tbf.. it's just that loss of acceleration and the fearlessness to take players on isn't there at the moment. The momentum of his growth has completely stalled and understandably so. Just annoying as fuck man.

Believe me, I'm praying daily for Odoi and RLC to regain their form... and I think peoples frustrstions are because we know how good they were and how immense they were going to be. We built dreams upon their shoulders and watching them play in their current state...hurts... really hurts man. It's like watching your kids struggle to blend in with other kids at school... this shit aint easy.

In hindsight, Sarri was bang on the money although if it wasn't for that injury, I truly believe Odoi had that special aura and ability about him to go full steam into stardom. I'm literally praying to the footballing Gods that this version of Odoi we are currently witnessing is down to confidence rather than an apparent loss of pace and acceleration.
