What separated us from City and Liverpool last year was consistency over the course of a season along with a lack of confident finishers. Head to head... there isn't much in it.. and it would be fair to say, we bettered them in head to head meetings and if not for the mentioned lack of goal scorers we would have beaten both convincingly last season in several games. So far we have brought in Sterling who knows where the goal is. We have Havertz going into his 3rd season now, already showing signs of adaptation last season with adding aggression to his game. There are rumours we may be in for Gnabry and if we do somehow bring in Lewa... then I can't see why we aren't able to stand toe to toe with City and Liverpool... especially now we are brining in KK to play alongside Silva, James and the returning Chilwell.

Apparently he keeps himself in supreme condition and watching some highlights of his season just gone... he is still looking fantastic on recovery tackles.

I was definitely one of those who was against the return of Lukaku but when it looked certain for him to come here, I convinced myself it could work knowing full well we were signing a donkey. It's all history now though... we need to move on.

For me, Todd should be going full force on trying to get Skriniar over any other CB. That guy is a beast. I was dead set against Kimpembe because he was apart of the defences that have been humiliated in the CL BUT I see PSG fans praising him... saying he is a fantastic CB.. then again, I'm not sure they realise what a good CB is... not like us. 😄 Anyways, fuck paying that kind of money for Raphinah, he really isn't worth a penny more than Sterling that is for sure. Sterling has serious resume... Raphinah has popped off a few Joga Bonito skills in a super attacking Leeds side and everyone has fallen in love with him. The question is, who now... who do we go for now. Surely we must dip into the market for a striker .. Ronaldo.. Lewa.. Isak.. Even Felix..I feel Felix would be ideal for us with Sterling and Odoi/Puli on the wings.

Gvardiol would suit City soo much.. I really hope they don't get him. Want to see him here more than any other defender we have been linked with. We'll Skriniar too but he's going PSG.

I would personally take Chiesa over Raphinah. Despite the stats, there is something special about that lad.
