The Brazilian midfield is a nice cohesive unit though. It's probably a hell of a lot easier to play good in front of paulinho and Gustavo while next to hulk and neymar and press from the front than it is to constantly having to turn around and press from the back. Hell, even stick in someone like fernandinho(who I feel has been Manchester city's best player this season) and it still works. He has less work to do with them.

To be fair though Schurrle shows flashes of brilliance in attack that, if more frequent, would show him worth the 18 million. Willian would have to change completely to be worth such a fee as an Attacking midfielder or winger.
