I don't think either is Chelsea standard to be starting, but if we are giving time for squad players to find rhythm I'd much rather it went to a homegrown player so we could use the international spot on somebody that is a world beater/starter quality.

It's debatable that he is much better than Moses. Moses when given time is a serviceable squad player, and that is all Schürrle is looking to be too.

I think it is more to be honest. He came from a very dangerous situation in Kismayo, and was almost deported back there as a youth. Being a youngster from a war-torn area, and being what saved your family from going back to that war area, has to weigh heavily on him. I wouldnt say he is the average good time charlie looking for the biggest pay day possible to party with some models in a club.
