Fabregas sucks now but he did almost break the assist record for the league last season. Hazard has hardly been doing it alone.

To be fair though nobody should look at the list Didierforever posted and find it pleasant to read. It is a depressing look at the truth in some poor dealings. I probably harp on this a lot, but there is NO reason why a player like Bertrand should even be in the market for being sold. A homegrown player who knew the league and was premier league quality. What more can our youth system do? Then we bring in no marks like Djilobodji and Baba...that is depressing. Also I don't need the jury to be out on Pedro. He is an serviceable youth player coming from Barcelona, and if his name was Peters and he was coming through our youth system he wouldnt be entertained in this squad at all. It is disappointing.

I think the move is eventually going to happen in the same way Ronaldo was always going to be captured by Madrid. What we need to do is make sure we get a kings ransom for him when it does happen.

Jose made the exact same type of defending comment about Mata that he just did about Hazard though. We have all seen this show before, which is why the situations are similar. Two creative players he felt the need to come out and shame about defending.

Obviously you guys know Hazard better, but I don't think he has that ruthlessness in him. Now De bruyne, he was ruthless. The entire world knew he was gone even before that window opened when he stopped playing Nothing anybody said could have kept him here. I think Mourinho could still probably sweet talk Hazard down from leaving.

I think Jose has talked Roman into a corner on the "This is an important moment in the history of this club" line though.

That "come my way" line is eerily similar to what he said when he first dropped Mata. I think Hazard's time is limited here if Mourinho isn't sacked.

They are in same positions in this club. Mata was man of the year(twice) and it was his team. Hazard is pretty much that role now. The only difference is we have seen what has happened with De Bruyne now so we can hope people are smarter.
