True, but he showed flashes of brilliance then it turned into a "Lets keep our head above water" situation and it was pretty much over for him. Bony is a good striker who also looked terrible in that circumstance with them.
Its a step backwards even if he puts up good numbers again.
We know hes a(good) championship striker now. Seeing it again tells us nothing about his future here.
I think a different type of player is needed in midfield in a Kante-Jorginho-Third guy partnership. I dont think Kovacic is different enough for him to be a good fit in such a set up.
