Last weekend was his first taste of adversity with us. City had his number. Hope to see him bounce back strong.
Size-wise he is the same height as Puyol. Obviously Puyol was built like a tank, but Dave could probably get there if required. I think its a natural progression for him.
He looked like this against better Italian opposition. The difference is we are expecting an upgrade when he is next to better players(Although...its arguable that is is next to the likes of Barkley and Fabregas)
Im not happy with Alonso,Luiz,Rudiger, or Morata....but the issue isnt them.
We are losing this because of the three of Barkley-Fabregas-Jorginho. They are not doing enough to help us establish the pace of the match.
They are sitting far down because if they don't City will just loft the ball over them to Aguero or Sane the way they did a few times in the first half. Its how they have to play because the midfield is leaving them exposed.
