Even though Ronaldo could change a game with just a moment of magic. A.cole has Ronaldo in his pocket every game he plays agaisnt him im not worried by Ronaldo even though his one of the best in the world.

Vidic being out is a massive blow for Man United. He came off in the first half when we beat them 2-1 at the Bridge and there defence didn't look as solid as it normally does. Im hoping we can get a win although im not really that confident going into this one but anyways...... Chelsea 1-0 Man United

Kalou has potential to be one of the best around, he needs to work on his finishing and consistency. He's only young so he has got time to improve. I agree a good run in the starting 11 would only help him.

As much as i want Zola too do well its a massive gamble for West Ham. Hopefully he can get off to a good start next week against managerless Newcastle. I can either see Zola being a success or a disaster im hoping he does well though. :thumbsup: He needs an experienced number two along side him that will help him a lot.

How can you judge him on one game and especially seeing as it was agaisnt Chelsea. He will need time to adjust to the English game he's not the biggest either and he will need to get stronger. Some players start and adjust straight away like Deco for instance. Others take time like Ballack and Drogba did. Id love to have signed him...it would have been easier for him at Chelsea too with more quality players around him.

Exactly, he was also treated badly by Real Madrid and wanted out..... even if it was Man City.

Steve Clarke is a legend, he's 5th in Chelsea's all time appearances and he has been there for years and is very popular not just with the fans but the players as well. And if he does become West Ham's number 2 and he comes back to the Bridge with West Ham he would get a massive round of applause from every fan in that stadium. Why would he go to West Ham? Zola has limited coaching experience therefore he is going to have a more active role there, and more of an influence on decisions. Being assistant to Scolari however is different. Scolari has to be one of the most experienced managers in the game he's been there and done everything so Clarke is going to have much of a lesser say. Its Zola's first time managing a team so he will try to get as much help and advice from Steve Clarke as he can.

Zola needs some one with experience along side him, Steve Clarke is being mentioned. The only reason i can see him going to West Ham is because he may have more of an active role there and he might have more of an influence on decisions with Zola having limited coacing experience. The thing is i can see Steve Clarke being Chelsea manager soon along with all the other former Chelsea players managing clubs at the moment. He must of learnt loads under Jose, and now Scolari has came in....he will be learning even more.

As much as i love Lamps he hasn't performed that well for England since before the 2006 world cup although the same could be said about other players. I do think he gets blamed and criticized a bit too much especially when he's subbed he gets booed off like hell at times....My best England 11 wouldn't have Lampard in it im afraid but 2 years ago maybe it would have.

Lol...he never looses the ball. Like i said its because he just keeps it simple. He wins the ball then gives it to Lampard, Deco, Ballack etc so then the team can move from there. He doesn't look for the killer pass, thats the job of the midfielders who play in front of him.

I think he is under-rated in my opinion. He never looses the ball and keeps it simple. In teams now days its essential to have players like Makelele and Mikel in the team. Yeah and we need him back for the Man City game....

New here, been a Chelsea fan for nearly 10 years now....my first match was in 2000 where we beat Tottenham 3-0....yeah i know a great first game to go too....=) and ive been hooked since... I recognize a few people here from Total football forums...don't know what else to say really.... but im looking forward to posting on these forums.
