Lampard 3 or even 2 years ago could actually impact a game without scoring. All he is now is a goalhanger sadly.

He has amazing mental strength, presence, power and pace but he's still a donkey technically. He's like a more powerful version of Javier Hernandez.

We play a hideous brand of football and we rarely threaten the opposition if they're sat deep. Majority of our goals come from counter attacks, individual errors and set pieces. I think it's unfair to pin the blame on the team's inability to defend on Mata. Like pretty much every big club out there you want your best player to defend the least so you tinker your system in a way which exposes said player the least. Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Ibrahimovic, Van Persie, Gotze, Ribery etc aren't exactly workhorses are they? Of course you want Mata to defend in the big games at the highest level but I don't see the need against the likes of WBA and Swansea. There's no structure, contunity or style to our football and it's tough to watch. I doubt we'll ever see a performance like the 2nd half Man Utd away in the FA Cup this season. I don't get the point of people blaming last season's failure in Europe last season on Mata's posiitoning either. The season before he was a crucial part to our only Champions League triumph.

It's not only Mourinho though. How many youngsters got a chance under previous managers? It's hard to givje inexperienced youth a chance when they have 5 other multi-million pound signings ahead of the player as well as your job being in danger after every "bad" result.

I personally think he's overrated and was a pointless signing. Don't think he offers us much more than Schurrle or KDB would. Quality is pushing it. He's just an above average player with not much room for improvement at his age. Short-sighted signing by the club as usual.

He's a donkey techincally, he still has alot of room for improvement in that area. It's not because of his size or physique either the likes of Llorente, Ibrahimovic, Klose, Drogba etc are all of a similar build and had excellent technique. Just an observation. Calm down.

He went past ONE player caught on his heels lol. I'm talking about beating his man out wide and putting in a delicious delivery or cutting inside playing a teammate in with a reverse pass etc He's been underwhelming for a £30m signing in my opinion. Still only 11 games though, has time to improve.

Still not a huge fan of his. He works very hard of course but he's looked underwhelming in attack this season. Don't think I've seen him go past his marker once this season.
