Drogba or Torres?

Why do hacks like Neil Ashton keep insisting Sturridge is ahead of Torres when he's been playing wide right all season long? Oh and why would we sell Nando in January when Kalou, Anelka and Drogba will all be unavailable for one reason or another during that month. We would be left with Sturridge who's one half of our only wingers and Lukaku who isn't ready to be a starter yet. Really can't stand lazy journalism. Oh and I thought Torres was Roman's personal "toy" so why would he get rid so soon?

Striker in being selfish shocker! He's been constantly told to go for goal in those sort of positions since he's started playing football ffs. Torres would probably be a better player if he had the same sort of mentality. Oh and for those complaining about his lack of a right foot he's taken about 5 or 6 shots with his weaker foot in the past few weeks, nearly scored with one of those shots too. As the season goes on I'm sure his decision making in the final third will improve like it does with all other inexperienced players. We should just be happy he has the talent to get into those sort of situations. If you think he's greedy go watch the Leverkusen away game where he single-handedly created pretty much every chance we had that night. One massive improvement I've noticed in the past few weeks is his work rate has tremendously improved which is also a HUGE plus. My only criticism of Sturridge is the lack of aggression in his game at the moment. I've seen him shying away from too many 50-50s and "lost causes" this season.

Fully agree with the OP. Something that also annoys me regarding Luiz are the fanboys that are adamant he should be playing in defensive midfield. I mean it really doesn't take a genius to realise he wouldn't be able to make those marauding runs with him playing there.

Sturridge was magnificent in the first half but was awful once he stopped playing for the team. Still has that striker mentality. David Luiz and Terry were excellent as well in my opinion. By far our best CB duo. Lampard was the best player on the pitch by a mile though. Real shame he's finished though. I thought Mata, Drogba had poor games today by their high standards but were still heavily involved in a few of our goals. That's the sign of a World Class player. The one real negative is our defending of set pieces. It's shocking to say the least.

I hope he improves as he gets more games out wide but I've been slightly disappointed with the impact he's made in that position so far. He still looks like a striker playing out of position for me but then again he is learning an entirely different role so I guess we should all be patient.

You're criticizing Bosingwa for his defending and then you go and mention Micah Richards ffs. Oh and if you think some of Bosingwa's performances at the back have been bad this season go and watch Phil Jones against Basel the other day. He gets tons of hype and praise from the English press but there's a reason United's defense has been extremely shaky so far this season. I think Bosingwa has played very well this season much improved from last season anyway. Sure he's prone to the odd brainfart and his crossing is incredibly inconsistent but I think he's more than made up for all of that with his contribution going forward this season. A goal and 3/4 assists so far this season isn't it? If he can keep his concentration for 90 minutes this season and be more consistent with his delivery he would easily be the best RB in the League.
