'My daughter was playing with my cell phone and ended up putting emojis over Antonio Conte': Willian explains Instagram post that blocked out former Chelsea boss after FA Cup win Willian told ESPN Brasil: 'My daughter was playing with my cell phone and she ended up putting those emojis over Conte. 'After the final I got a plane right after the game to come to Brazil. When I got here, early in the morning, I was posting some pictures of the champions and, well, I was a bit too tired and ended up posting them like that.' Get this shit stain of a man out of my club. Not only is he a self-entitled rat, he's also a fucking coward blaming his own little daughter (just like Fabregas "accidentally" liked a post about Conte's sacking). The sight of him being captain tonight makes me sick. We have some real low-life 'men' in our squad unfortunately.

Ronaldo and Messi, also Suarez, Neymar, Bale, Benzema. They don't need goalscoring midfielders, they always have had killers up top.

Can't really comment, haven't seen many of Bulka's EPL games.

Loads srping to my mind, LOADS. Cba to name them all. Fucking Bulka already better than Butland, come on...
-
Please stop making a fool of yourself and naming this Bulka guy with these guys. We should know better by now than to board a pre-season hype train.

I don't want Ramsey, think he's slightly above average tbh.
-
You and akg have both said that he isn't a goal threat. This worries me, since we don't have many goal threats up front either. Can we clone Lampard? I would be ecstatic if we had a finisher up top though, say someone like Diego Costa... I just don't want us to become a possession-based team with no end product (read: Arsenal). But let's see...
-
How does he fare under pressing? Good at keeping the ball, composed, or more towards Bakayoko? How are his long-shots? How many goals approximately does he have in him per season? Does he move towards the ball and ask for it or does he rather just wait for the ball to come to him?
-
What type of player is he? What's his style, what are his strenths and weaknesses (please no whoscored screenshots)?
-
Mate, please remove your signature. It's cringeworthy, show some respect to Ivanovic ffs. On topic, I was thinking, what are the chances that Kepa rejects Real but joins us just half a year later?
-
I think the logic that don't sign just for the sake of signing applies here. There are no realistic striker upgrades available on the market. The one that was (Higuain) we missed out on, shit happens. So since nobody obtainable is available, we will go with the flow and see how the strikers we already have will manage. If they flop, then for sure we'll be going in again in January or next summer. But if Cuntois leaves, then we really don't have much choice. Caballero? I'd rather get skullfucked tbh.
-
Would not lose any sleep if we replace Tibo with him. Will not claim to know anything about him, but La Liga watchers fawn over him, so I tend to trust that judgement. Cool name too... Kepa.
-
Better than nothing. And we are a small club compared to them. Hell we even took Maniche on loan from Russia when we were still ambitious
-
Hahahah you guys crack me up
-
The bigger problem is that we still haven't replaced Emenalo. As it seems she's been left alone with other non-footballing businessmen. Abramovich also seems to have lost interest. If we drag our feet in the transfer market again and miss out on top4, I would be for selling the club and dismantling the whole board of oily yes-(wo)men.
-
He has a contract until 2025 what the fuck
-
It seems all we are doing is preparing and being ready. Tangible actions however prove otherwise.
-
It was the correct decision at that time. If we had let Courtois go back then in favour of a declining Cech we'd be ruing that like we are ruing the sales of KDB and Salah. Nobody had any way of knowing that Courtois would become such a massive bellend.
-
Our other options are Barkley, RLC, Fabregas, even Willian and Hazard I would say they are all ahead of bloody Luiz for this role. And if need be recall Mason Mount. Though I admit I would be fascinated to see Luiz in that position just for shits and giggles.
-
So we're playing a life-long center-back as the most advanced midfielder while our most critical issue is goals, brilliant. He has a good eye for a pass because he plays deep as a CB, he has time to pick his passes and even then I consider his passing and technical ability overrated. Everybody can run with the ball given space... he is not going to dribble past 2-3 players when closed down. What do you think how he would fare higher up the field with midfielders and defenders swarming him? Dynamite in his boot? Need some clarification on this one.. and don't bring up the few successful free-kicks in his career or I will cringe.
-
Yes but Luiz is definitely not the answer, it would make things only worse. As for our options... our squad management has been pure shit over the last few years, so I don't envy whoever our head coach may be. And that is also why we will have done very well if we get top4 (I don't think we will).
-
Haha no way my man. He was barely trusted for DMF in emergency cases, as AMF he'd be a disaster. He is a flashy defender but that and him being Brazilian doesn't mean he has any competence in attack I'm afraid... we need more goals, not dry them out even more.

I haven't been reading this forum much this past week, but skimming through I see posts like the ones above, so there must be reasons for people to write this. This tells me that there has been a meltdown over our CS loss and some posts on that thread I've seen are puzzling. Why? What did some people expect? This guy hasn't been at the helm for even a month. Anybody seriously thought we had a chance against a settled champion Guardiola side? Okay, there is always a fluke chance to scrape it, but that's not the point. As much as I've seen us this pre-season I am pleased with the signs of change, they are trying, but there are some obvious bottlenecks in this team. With a coach like Conte we'd have a higher chance of winning trophies, but the club clearly aren't that interested in that anymore, it's all about change of identity now. Every game this season will be part of a learning curve, let's have this discussion again in a year or two.
