  1. He's buggering off soon though! surely this is a chance for a few youngsters
  2. I thought that! Nothing but a striker. Least he's getting a run out though
  3. Definitely agree. Should make certain stands safe standing, others sitting facilities. Not everyone wants to stand. We should find out the amount that currently stand at Stamford Bridge, and those who want to stand (but can't because of stewards etc.)... then use those numbers to turn like parts (or all) of the Shed and Matthew Harding stands into safe standing.
  4. We should definitely rest the ol' boys Lamps and JT, and start Romeu as he looked very comfortable last time against Genk. Genk are shit... but we still can't take anything for granted over there!
  5. The away kit is a beauty! The third kit makes me violently sick...
  6. Some of the comments on this forum are absolutely idiotic. You CANNOT judge a manager's ability on 2 losses. What you can judge though is the way in which the team responds from these defeats - that will show the quality of the manager, the next so many games. But seriously, he's had less than 6 months here. Give him time. Out the title race too? There's 28 games left. We've got 2 chances to take points from City, and another chance to get some from United... So fans need to stop panicking, have some beers, chill out, and get behind the manager and team!!!
  7. It saddens me to think we could leave the Bridge and move to a soulless, boring 'bowl of a stadium' like the Emirates Stadium. What depresses me even more is possibly losing the naming rights of the stadium! I would be GUTTED if we moved
  8. Just what Van Aanholt needs, a loan to a lower premier league club to gain vital match experience. He'll do well at Wigan I think. But when he does come back to Chelsea, and thinking about the future, will he be sticking round a long time with Bertrand on our books?. Surely Bertrand has higher potential and is a better prospect to replace Ashley when he hangs up his boots. I can't see Van Aanholt hacking it in the long run to be honest
  9. Here here to that! Makes it even more memorable as it was against Spurs. He'd perfectly fit in the current team/formation we've got these days I think (if he was 10 years younger lol). Would love it if he does well with coaching at Forest too and comes back to Chels to be part of the coaching staff.
  10. I always thought Hamsik was more defensive rather than creative though?
  11. Hazard would be the creative spark we need in midfield. He's a similar player to Modric so I'm sure it's a better option to go for Hazard (as he'd be cheaper and has more potential)...
  12. Is Lionel Messi the best player that has ever graced a football pitch? For the past 5 years, you hear the name Messi mentioned several times a season. If it's not something spectacular he's done in La Liga, it's something which we witness in the CL. At the age of 23, he is already a legend in his own rights... and just think about what he could achieve in the next 10 years. But can he really be as good as, or even better, than the legendary names of the past 50 years? i.e. Pele, Maradona, Best, Cruyff etc.
