Personally we should never really expect to be bringing in players during the season. It hasn't really ever happened before at Chelsea, with last season being the exception, although that was because it was Avram's first transfer window and he signed three very good players, one of whom was a necessary signing.

I'm glad he stayed, for obvious reasons, but we all know how hard it is to think straight about life when someone so close to us is taken away. Either way I'd have respected his decision, but I feel he made the right one staying.

Well Chelsea is obviously massive in England, so there is no point me stating the obvious But where a lot of my family live, in Cork, Ireland, the Blues are pretty big over there as well. Not to the same scale United, Liverpool and Everton are, but still very popular.
