  1. The latest Tweetings suggest Luiz will have his medical and a haircut either today or tomorrow. Also reports BRUMA AND KAKUTA are going to Benfica. All of this is coming from my Twitter feed... hopefully its bullshit.
  2. Twitter is fast becoming a source of breaking news, particularly in the world of sport. However, many of the stories tend to come without reliable sources - any Chelsea related rumours circulating Twitter should be posted here, and following sourcing on other sites, they can then be put in the relevant player threads TalkChelsea twitter page - http://twitter.com/#!/talkchelsea
  3. Lampard has not travelled, Terry is fine, however.
  4. I'm all for freedom of speech, as long as it doesn't impinge on other things, such as being offensive.
  5. Vamos Barca xD Haha, welcome to the forum mate. Nice to have opposition fans on here, as it offers another angle on things.
  6. Of course I'd be proud to take any child of mine to watch my team... I've just always wanted a son I could take to games... I've always imagined three generations of the Hinsley household sitting together watching the Blues
  7. Agreed, I'm getting sick of the consistent deriding of Benayoun. I think all this hatred towards him probably stems from the fact he is Jewish.... we unfortunately have some very close-minded people who think like that on here. The irony is the only man to take us to a UCL Final is a Jew, and the man who is our owner, and turned us into the most successful club of the mid/late-2000s is Jewish also.
  8. What the fuck has that got to do with it? Don't tell me you're part of the English Defence League... You say this, yet fail to acknowledge the fact that Yossi has been injured for the last four months. So if anyone is stopping Kakuta from playing, it is Anelka and Malouda - yet since they are the 'glamour players' and some of the world-renown names, they are never to be subjected to criticism. His singing of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was not only ironic (showing he has a sense of humour, you should take note), but also pertinent, as it also highlights your own ignorance since it acknowledges the fact that Chelsea supporters sung that anthem throughout the 1960s and 1970s, particularly in FA Cup matches. And as for your final ridiculous statement of 'demanding a first team number,' who the fuck are you to tell him what number he can and cannot have? At the start of the season he was shown what numbers were available, and he chose the number 10. I know that offends you deeply because you'd much rather see it on Kakuta (who has done NOTHING to warrant a first team number, whilst Benayoun is an experienced international and has played in 200+ matches in the Premier League and also in theChampions League). Absolutely. I find it funny how people call him 'useless' - he can't help being injured. Furthermore, in the three games he has played for us, he's done more than Kakuta has. But obviously some people will never acknowledge that. Great post. If anyone is responsible for Kakuta's lack of playing time, it is Kalou/Anelka/Malouda, and therefore ultimately Ancelotti.
  9. Gyan has made a big impression since coming to England, actually, I've been impressed. We've seen with Malouda, Drogba, Nasri and so on that coming from Ligue Un to the Premier League is a big step up - but he has adapted well since leaving Rennes.
  10. France's looks alright, but the retro collar is getting old since Chelsea, United and England have had it.
  11. I won £40 the other night on Manchester City-Leicester, which was nice.
  12. Which is exactly why we're "saving" €5 million.
  13. Just tried changing it part of the post instead of a separate tab... not really any difference.
  14. Good call... possibly limiting status lengths to 100 characters is another option.
  15. Too inconsistent and too old. Three years ago, yes. Not now.
  16. He'll go to City but don't worry, we'll sign Beckham.
  17. Supporters in Latin America are amazing. I love listening to their supporters more than watching the game!
  18. Welcome back Mike! Been a while since we saw you around here! How are you?
  19. Wow I have three dreams in life - I want to get married to a loving wife, have a daughter I can walk down the aisle and a son I can take to watch Chelsea, like my dad did with me.
  20. Time for Terry and Lampard to follow Scholes' path and retire from international football.
  21. Six to eight more weeks to recover... then another two before he steps up to full training I would imagine. Still looking at the end of March.
  22. Sigh, we'll probably bring in Ben Haim on loan and play him up front.
  23. How does that constitute 'crap?' If the player wants to play for Chelsea, he has to be good enough to play for Fulham first. Common sense dictates that - if he can't make an impression at an average club, there is very little chance he'll be able to cut the cheese at Stamford Bridge. So, as Henrique says, its time to see if he is as good as some people on here think he is - I'm very supportive of Gael, but he hasn't done anything yet IMO to warrant some of the praise he heaps. So next time you want to criticise someone else's opinion, I'd make sure you aren't spouting crap yourself.
