We could yes, having Hazard on one wing, Reus for example on the other would definately make a difference. It would mean even less gametime for the backups though so not sure it's sustainable. I'd be happy if we manage to sign a striker and a playmaker and perhaps a LB for now.

He handled himself well against the most physical side in the league, and took his goal well. He rarely plays so cut him some slack, he was one of our better players...

To be fair I do believe we need a WC striker and I don't think he's ready to be our first striker yet, which ofcourse is completely normal being so young. I'm not even sure he'll ever be good enough to completely be relied on as our primary striker. But right now he is 20 years old and has scored in abundance for mediocre teams in the PL. I can't get my head around how people want to sell such a talented youngster, especially after having witnessed a season of fail from our 'strikers'.

All you pseudo experts can keep whining about his so called lack of effort or will to fight for a place, the only reason Mourinho doesn't seem to rate him is the fact he doesn't want to admit his mistake of letting him go on loan, especially because our strikers are borderline retarded in front of goal. Lukaku instead of Torres would have gained us at least some points, perhaps enough to grab the title.

I wonder how many of you would sell Lukaku if he looked his age, a kid. You don't sell 20 year olds who score 15+ goals a season in the PL. Would be utter fail on Mourinho's part

He'd be second only to a single superior striker, this year he'd have had to share time with 2-3 other strikers.. There's nothing to suggest he wouldn't be happy playing second fiddle to a player like Cavani or Costa

He's 20, ofcourse he will improve... He will never be a silky player but that doesn't mean he can't perfect his finishing or learn how to use his body and become a goal machine. It's all speculation as of now. The question is will he settle in being 2nd choice for us for a few seasons or will we see him reach his peak elsewhere.

Lol, I'm not even criticizing really. It's an aspect of his game that can and should be improved. I'm not dismissing everything else he does, I'm saying with a little more coaching or work on that aspect he'd be more effective.

Mourinho said he doesn't really coach Hazard, he let's him do what he wants; I wish he did some coaching as he really needs to improve his positioning off the ball. He's often just jogging on behind when we're on a counter when he should be much closer to the box, it annoys me. Brilliant game by him nevertheless. oh and shoot for fuck sake

On a brighter note we're top of the league having played pretty shitty overall, mostly winning due to individual moments and a Mourinho defense. With the right signings we'll be some team
