  1. The board*. Yes, they can obviously do whatever they want and I can call them disgraceful morons with no values nor, worse, any football intelligence for it. When he's not still the best defender in our team! Either when he does not wish to play any longer or when he does not still offer A LOT for the club. Forget that it's Terry and forget that he's the legend and captain, if we are letting the contract of any of our nailed starters and key players in the team just expire, everyone would be livid because it is plain stupid business first and foremost and because it weakens the team without even gaining anything in return.
  2. No, the club told his agent over the phone no. He can do whatever the heck he wants with that info and he decided that the fans deserve to know. He's obviously not happy with the decision and why should he be? He's done everything for this club and lead it to every major honor possible. He's also worked his heart out in training to still be the best defender at the club despite his age only to be rewarded with being let go while the wort player in the league gets a renewal. He can work any angle he wishes to.
  3. This was JT's reaction after putting in a blinder to help the team beat Arsenal in the very first match since he found out (through his agent over the phone) that the club he's played almost 700 matches for won't be renewing his contract: But yeah, he obviously cares nothing about the club and is only manipulating the fans so he can keep filling his pockets for another year, the greedy bastard....
  4. This is the guy who literally almost killed himself to try to score a goal for us, the guy who played with a broken rib for the club. He is the only individual in the entire Chelsea setup that constantly does everything that shows he cares about the fans and the club. He can physically shit on the fans and still be the biggest legend in the history of this club. The very least we can do for him is sticking up for him now.
  5. His agent was told over the fucking PHONE! HAHAHAHAHAHA We really are a plastic club with no values. Smh...
  6. We just gave IVANOVIC a two year extension. But we all know he's every manager's dream! There is NOTHING even remotely logical about this decision. Stop it.
  7. Yeah, you're right, we should be marching on the headquarters with fucking pitch forks! Forget everything he's done for the club, we're letting our captain, our best defender and the best defender in the league last season just leave. Of all the stupid decisions the board has made recently, this BY FAR tops them all.
  8. No. This is one decision by the board I can't fucking swallow. This better turn out to be BS.
  9. What a half of football! I haven't laughed that hard in a long while
  10. Would have liked Kennedy to start but good lineup nonetheless. Now, let's get the job done (hopefully without a replay!).
  11. Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. But any talk of 20m+ is very unrealistic, imo.
  12. Joking aside, I would have seriously taken Kalou this season over Falcao.
  13. Needs to break into a PL team or he risks ending up a championship striker for most of his career.
  14. In the sense that everyone around him and in the media seem to be telling him that he's already a superstar when he still has a very tough road in order to make it. Incredibly dangerous at this stage in his career.
  15. You do know we have a whole network of scouts, right?
  16. Wait, hold DOWN the fort? Is the fort attached to a trillion helium filled balloon and about to float away and we need Zouma and Miazga to hold it down?!
  17. No. 12 goals and 6 assists in a season, including some vital goals in big matches, from a squad player is a good return, regardless of how you look at it. NO ONE expected him to replicate his Inter or Barca performances at his age.
  18. Welcome to the Chelsea family and best of luck. To the inevitable comparisons with Falcao, firstly, coming from the Brazilian league, Pato's wage is undoubtedly considerably less even after Falcao's rumored wage cut. Secondly, obviously getting Pato is a risk, but it's an understandable one to take se as there are very few available options in the market in January; unlike when we signed Falcao in the summer when there were a lot of other options on the market. Finally, Pato's issues at Milan were always his lack of fitness and chronic injuries, but whenever fit he was usually pretty consistent and would still perform to a very good level unlike Falcao who has failed to perform well since his injury. I'm not saying, btw, that Pato will set the world alight here, there is little proof to suggest that, but I am saying that his chances of performing well and becoming a part of the team are much higher than Falcao's were when he joined in the summer. And if he can stay fit and recreate his Milan levels then we get a bargain in the summer for 8m.
  19. I really hope I'm wrong, but this kid reminds me so much of McEachran.....
