I had made my peace with this guy NEVER standing up in a big game but the dire and atrocious set piece taking was just inexcusable especially since it looked like our only way of getting on the score board.

Also I agree Ballack was a better penalty taker but as you can see it's why Lampard was chosen as A)he was almost always on the pitch no matter the game and his club status could not be questioned. If not we'd have to witness those cringey scenes like the one above on a more regular basis.

There is no better coach than Jose to stamp out the 'Arsenalitis' that Fabregas seems to suffer from in big games however. Hopefully the eradication is complete before we get to the top dogs in the CL.
