1. Chelsea have always decided to spend big on back up positions. We spent big on postitions like #2 striker when our system only required 1 striker. In a year we only had EPL to worry about. 2. They are not good enough. I've yet to see any of our youth go on to be anything special. 3. We have too many top talent. You don't get better by beating everyone 5-0 because your team is staked with youth players that are clearly better than everyone else. So our youth players stagnate when they come here.

We're gonna bid 3m below their asking price cause we are so firm in our business. Then spend 3/4 for a below par player. Only to spend another 30m next year buying another below par player for the same position.
