I'm pissed we lost but that's not the basis of my argument. I'm sick of sitting back whenever we're up 1-0. if you allow the opponet to attack all day ofcourse they are gonna get 'freak chances'. especially considering how united are built, they would love for us to just sit back and allow them to attack all. yea it is Jose's job to think of the best approach and trust the players. sitting back against a team that has 0 defense and a great attack is not the best approach
-
ofcourse it was the players fault. notable ivanovic and Zouma. but it's Jose's job to keep keep them out of situations like that. if we had kept attacking we wouldnt be in that situation
-
If we had kept the same structure we had before the goal, I'm pretty sure most of us would be angry at the players not Jose
-
that's cause we start sitting back like a bunch of cowards. Nothing to do with mikel and all to do with Mourinho. I love Jose but his negative tactics get to me sometime s
-
We need more than just one goal threat on the field at a time. Drogba was literally the only goal threat on the field against that shaky defense.
-
We need a goal threat. Shurrle needs to come in
-
think Shurrle should have started over Willian due to Costa's injury
-
Drogba has been ridiculously poor every time i see him play this year.
-
he's been really good every time I watch him at Madrid. He was world class last year and so far this year has been better than Eden overall I think. Although I do see Eden claiming his spot as the best player in the EPL by season's end
-
no,he is not. certaintly not at #10. You don't have to go back to his Ligue 1 days to assess his ability, just look at his performances for us and you'll come to the conclusion that he would need to battle for a spot at Madrid.
-
I agree with him. seems like a logical argument.
-
Modric would start over Cesc. James and Eden would battle it out for the #10 spot unless you put Eden as the RW
-
Do you guys see Cesc playing in the hole with Matic against that united attack? Or do you think Ramires will play and Cesc will take Oscar's place?
-
always forget about them lol.
-
Who would he replace? Only semi open position right now is rw
-
I'm beginning to believe Costa might actually be hurt. If so I think shurrler is our best bet
-
I have yet to see a match thread where people aren't accusing everyone for being over confident. Honestly! It should be a tough game -expecially since Costa and Remy might miss it - but we should win. anything else would be a disappointment
-
gonna be the most interesting line up yet. Need a super defense but also need to capitalize on their struggling D. Honestly have no idea what we should do. Cesc in the middle seems risky to me idk
-
exactly what I was thinking. He is much more aggressive this year. doesn't stand on the ball
-
That was the most amazing interview I've ever read. So personal and honest.
-
ok, i don't really like blaming attackers for conceding goals so I agree with you on that. with our current line up, I like seeing Shurrler in because he is the only other goal scoring threat we have next to Costa. It's just that his decision making has been poor so far this year and he needs to improve on that

Burnley (started, goal) Had Good game Bolton (started) struggled Swansea (played 45 minutes) cause he struggled the first 45 Schalke (didn't play) Man City (played for 28 minutes, scored) scored but didn't track back for their goal Everton (didn't play) Leicester (played 63 minutes) invincible Aston Villa (played 23 minutes) don't remember Arsenal (started) struggled Sporting (started) struggled He's a super sub. but needs to gain his WC form if he wants to be a regular here
-
we've played like 6 games. wake up.
-
can't keep a shot on target, inconsistent, can't start (super sub). overall, he's been underwhelming
-
are we remotely linked yet? With Schurrler struggling I think the board has atleast made a phone call or two
