Now THAT would be a fucking dream.
-
We will (hopefully) have Danny and Hulk.
-
Yes, we got mikel, lamps, essien, meireles, romeu but.. Mikel: Awesome and has really grown in my eyes. Young and fit guy. Lampard: Ageing but still very fit and will probably be available for most of the season. Essien: In all honesty, i love the guy but he's done. Meireles: I dont apprichiate this guy and dont even understand why we bought him. Not really good defensive nor offensively and his passing sucks. Romeu: Whats going on here? Why hasnt he been playing? Will he remain at Chelsea? If so, he's a solid DM. So, basically we've got Mikel, Lampard and Romeu as reasonable and solid DM. I would love to see us go for a relative cheap and promising DM just to be able to rotate and feel more comfortable there. And basically let Essien and Meireles go or sell them.

I understand what you mean. My point was that Im convinced that if Torres would do a good/great season many people here would completley re-evaluate their opinion regarding Torres. Of course we shouldnt. Torres had a shitty start in Chelsea, but to be honest if you compare Torres today and Torres at his initial Chelsea-career there is a huge differance. He has confidence again. Put that together with RDM, the "trust" Torres has gotten not least considering Drogba's gone and the additions to the team (Hazard, Marin, possibly Hulk) and I can see a successful Torres. So perhaps we should wait untill we've seen a few matches in the upcoming season before any bashing on him continues. Lets not dwell in the past.
-
I cant wait to get in your faces when Torres shines in the upcoming season. And the funny part is, when he does, all haters will be cheering for him then instead.
-
Either loan him out to an EPL club (Stoke, West ham, wigan etc) or give him alot more playtime in Chelsea. Anything else is just plain stuipid.
-
"someone"?
-
seems pool have bidded for sturridge. Ive gotten my trust back with the CHelsea board and their decisions regarding transfers, but letting danny go would be a huge mistake. Apparantly the bid seems to be around £10m which in my eyes is a pathetic number...
-
Are people actually saying that its a problem that we wont have any sell-value on Maicon later on? With a pricetag between 5-10m (as Ive understood it is) we dont need to cash in on him, for the love of god. Stop it with these silly comments already. Have people been brainwashed lately? Isnt a player good enough if he doesnt cost above 30m?
-
What do u mean with "better"? Debuchy is not even close to be as good as Maicon is.
-
To all you who are sceptic: To bring in someone like Maicon is smart because we still have a world class RB who is still 100%. If we buy a young talent his development might be hindered due to not enough playtime. Realize that noone can take Ivanovic's place at the moment and we wouldnt be able to throw in a young guy in a game when he's been on the bench too much. A guy like Maicon would with his experience and greatness have no problems with stepping in. Going for a young talent (wether its one from our own acadamy or not) is a better move when Iva's time is coming to an end so that a new RB can be given enough playtime.
-
He wouldnt have to be better than Sturridge. I think Danny did a good job at RW, did enough goals and would do more with more playtime. Plus I think Jovetic would have better crosses and passes than Danny.
-
Why do people all of a sudden think that just because your in a transision and getting rid of some older players whos time has passed, that u cant have any older players in the team? Yeah u need youth and all that but also stability from experienced guys. Maicon is a good signing if u think tactically. Stop thinking that we can have players under 25 on all positions!
-
AVB got a budget of £70m if I read correctly. I actually think spurs will be a threat next season..dont underrestimate AVB.
-
Oh please, that arguement is so pathetic I just sighed. You're saying that because the differance of the leagues his price tag should be 40-50% less? And what with C. Ronaldos transfer fee? Did his fee mean that La Liga is a better league than PL or what?
-
And why isnt he worth more than 20? Just looking at his statistics justifies around a 30m price tag. I think £35 would make sense, but then again, we're Chelsea.
-
There seems to be some sites reporting that we've reached an agreement of £38m. Hmm.....

Rentistas, Uruguay

What does being a legend have to do with retiering in Chelsea? Is Drogba less of a legend for leaving?
-
Lets not get ahead of ourselfes now. Yeah, Torres has looked better but to claim that "he's back" is to be abit naive. Lets just comfort ourselfes with that he seems to be ON HIS WAY back but let his performance in the upcoming season prove that. @manpe: The reason Torres wasn't prefered is because del Bosque is a cunt!
-
Lampard is already a legend, and we just won the CL that was highly desired. If we could cash in on him, then why not?
-
Too bad both of them plays for cunt-clubs.
-
After reading that, Im actually buying into that this wouldnt be so bad afterall, but frankly it could be quite good.
-
What about Alan Dzagoev (Russia) and Mario Mandzukic (Croatia)? They both had 3 goals in less minutes than Gomez. Guess they had no assists then and Gomez had one?
-
Amazing performance by El Nino today! Im just pissed at del Bosque for not giving him more playtime during the other matches... And btw, how come Torres won the Golden Boot? What do they look at secondly when several others have the same ammount of goals scored? Was it because he scored in the final?
