Cech Azpi - Cahill - Terry - Cole Ramires - Luiz Willian - Oscar - Hazard X The reason for playing Luiz as CDM is simple. Stop Yaya. He always destroys our midfield and I honestly think Luiz is the best option to stop him. Defensively we could play Iva instead of Azpi or even instead of Cahill. I would actually prefer Iva to play one of the positions because of the physic strenght he adds and his strong head-game. Always a danger at corners! Oscar is a nobrainer for me here.I think this is the wrong type of game for Mata. Oscar should rest next game. As far as the strikers go, Torres and Eto were equally good the last games they played so Im not too concerned about who starts. Chelsea 2 -1

Getting to start a game doesnt have to do with what a player "deserves" or not. In a game of importance like this satisfying a player isnt relevant what so ever. Winning the game and implementing the tactics the manager is going for is, and by doing that he chooses the players who can do that/he thinks can do that the best.

What is this discussion even about? We have two really promising, established and well-performing young CBs. What are you guys argueing about? And I dont get what people have against Luiz. You may not like the way he plays, but that is the way he plays, we knew that, and we like that. Else we wouldnt have bought him. I really like him and I believe he has the chance to become a future captain.

Cardiff is Cardiff and our most important CL game this season against a german side is another thing. Bertrand will never be a starter for us.

Schurrle was fantastic today. I guess he will be getting some more playtime now, maybe Hazard will experience some benchsitting like Mata did? Actually that might do him good... He hasnt performed well at all this season and its time that he (like others) realize there is much competition and preasure when playing in Chelsea.

I wouldnt start Cahill. No reason to pick him over Luiz in this game.

HAHAHA Only in the Torres thread is there people "accepting" or justifying his absolute shitty behaviour yesterday, scratching another player? Had it been suarez doing that, what would all of u say? Yeah Torres played well but fuck him for getting himself banned. He always finds a way to fuck up. He absolutley couldnt calm himself down.. He brought it on himself.

If you consider his performance today was amazing, and amazing is basically as good as it gets, then that just proves how little you think of Torres really. No goal, no assist and sent off and probably cost us a point. Amazing huh? HOWEVER, I still think he performed well. Decent linkup play but what I liked the most is that he showed passion, determination and will. THAT, was amazing because i havent seen him show that in the Chelsea shirt. But to call his performance amazing, is to take it too far... Torres getting sent off was justified and I knew it was gonna happen. He just couldnt calm himself down with Vertongen. And it wasnt a red card, he got a YELLOW card. But since he already had one, he got the red. PS: He even managed to scratch Vertongens face and got away with that, so again, the 2nd yellow was justified. Like I said, he couldnt calm down and keep his emotions in check.

And once again, i didnt say it wasnt good. Im just not hopping on the bandwagon screaming it was an amazing/fantastic/awesome performance. Why? Because I expect him to play like this every match, at least show the heart and passion he did today. Also because he is being paid a fuckload of money.

The same problem with many others such as Torres, Ramires, Hazard... it sucks.
