  1. I feel Terry has proved he can be successful in Mou's system, I agree on Cole and Bertrand but both pacey like Marcelo, but with Cahill and Azpilicueta I feel like they have the physical stature to be morphed by Mou to play physically. I have to be honest here, I feel our team have a younger lesser version of what Madrid have, we have similar players to them except Benzema(maybe Ba?). I mean Hazard-Ronaldo prolific wingers, Mata-Ozil heart of the playmaking, Moses-Di Maria not as close in playing style as other comparisons but both pacey, Mikel-Alonso calm handlers of the ball, Ramires-Khedira, Luiz-Pepe has tackler. I see it as: ????<Benzema Hazard<Ronaldo Mata<Ozil (slightly) Moses<Di Maria Mikel<<Alonso Ramires<Khedira Luiz<Pepe (slightly) Ivan<Ramos It seems as though we have some of the base aspects of a Mou team but are missing the details (some bigger than others) that would make us a top class team with Mou. But we are Chelsea, Mou can buy those details .
  2. Thanks. However, doesn't it seem that our team fits this build?? All those players you mentioned are either defenders or midfielders, I understand that maybe some players might have been left out of that list but we have Azpi, Cahill, Luiz, Mikel, Ramires, Ba, Lampard, Moses, and even Oscar who all seem to either reflect that mentality or seem to have the physical build to withstand that style. Could it be that Mourinho's system mainly requires Aggressive defenders, strong midfielders, and a striker capable of holding up the ball(Drogba,Milito, Benzema/Higuain)? All of which it seems we have?
  3. But do Real Madrid play physical football?? (I don't watch them much)
  4. To make Neymar feel at home
  5. Why the hell would we close the topic?? This keeps the forum clean and concise, we can discuss the player in here. If we close all topics of players we aren't linked to, topics would be popping up every to discuss those players.

  7. Those are the type of easy goals Torres should have been bagging all year!
  8. Doesn't it seem like a 4-3-3 is the best formation for our team and Oscar? -----------Cech---------- Azpi---Ivanovic--Cahill---Cole -------Luiz-----Ramires-------- -----------Oscar---------------- -----Hazard----Mata---------- --------------Ba----------------- This seems like it would work for Oscar because he doesn't seem to be ultra composed when he is in the thick of defense like Mata or Hazard but he is above average, his work rate along with Ramires could make our midfield on of the strongest in the league, fits Hazard and Mata because both a better suited for a central role. Only problem would be width, can we trust Luiz to be tactically disciplined and fill in the spots left open by Ashley and Cesar bombing down the wings?
  9. Exactly, even if he does get injured wouldn't be that much of a monetary blow.
  10. I know Benitez made a questionable decision with his team selection, but he put the team in a position to win. We had 2-3 sitters that were simply not scored, we can't expect him to go onto the pitch and score the goals. We can't say that we are dependent on Mata and Hazard to create chances because we had created chances before they came on! I kind of wish we had a striker like Chicharito, not very skilled but very smart, one that can put himself in a position where the ball falls to him, it's not luck it's a matter of knowledge of the game.

  13. They have no choice, the release clause has been met.
  14. Oscar instead of Mata, Marin instead of Hazard, Mikel instead of Luiz, for rest and then Moses instead of Ramires.
  15. How can people be angry with this, we've sold our old backup for ~12 Million, and purchased one who as of right now is better for ~8 Million. Good business if you ask me.
