  1. If the right offer comes along for them, yes, I can.
  2. If an offer of 40-45 million pound comes along, YES! Or at least 35 million pound as he's getting old (29 this year).
  3. Surely you don't think Quaresma would be content as 5th placed winger, do you? He'd be lucky if he gets more than a couple of games.
  4. He's 29 this year and he won't be around for very long so if we want to cash on him, it's now or never IMO.
  5. He works for us, do you expect him to show support for another club? I can just imagine the slagging he'd get for doing that. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. So you know it's not Kenyon's advising Roman to stop shelling out? For certain? You mocked his saying we can break even by 2010 and yet you want him not to tour the club to far-flung places. Can't have one without the other IMO.
  6. I'd keep Alex, make Mancienne's Bosingwa's back-up and Ferreira as Ashley's.
  7. Yeah, and Milan Baros is world class.
  8. Great post, warnie_666. Completely agree. A poster on another site said Kenyon's a Man City supporter, btw.
  9. I'm not suggesting whatever he'd done before he'd come to Chelsea was of no consequence, because despite Manchester United being his first job at a football club, he'd managed to secure the club some very lucrative sponsorship deals as well as being involved in the signing of players such as Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Rio Ferdinand. Rumour has it he even played a major part when it came to twisting Ferguson's arm to delay his retirement. But how much could you trust a born and bred man whose professed 'loyalty' to the club he was supposedly a lifelong supporter of was so easily bought? He got us the Samsung sponsorship, Michael Essien, Ricardo Carvalho, Arjen Robben, Nicolas Anelka, etc. Anyway, sadly for Chelsea, the decision was made, Kenyon arrived in February 2004 and the question of trust was soon answered with him twisting the knife firmly in Ranieri's back whilst courting Sven-Goran Eriksson. This, in turn, was warmly received by the home crowd, who treated him to a rendition of "Stand up if you hate Kenyon! Stand up if you hate Kenyon!" - which he obviously enjoyed because he then went on to pull stunts like inviting Arsenal players out for meals until they became ex-Arsenal players – all in the name of commercial income obviously. Has he made the same mistake again after the Ashley saga? Marketing the 'brand' of Chelsea with meaningless tours to 'broaden the fanbase' and take Chelsea 'global'. Well, then it's not meaningless with that goal in mind IMO... Whatever happened to preseason games you could realistically attend? What happened to season tickets with domestic cups as part of the package? Peter Kenyon happened. Never mind the loyal fanbase if you can pick up a few stragglers in Asia or bring in a few fly-by-nights for a cup game, eh Peter? Roman wanting his club to profit and become big also happen, I'd say. With the sort of condescension that'd push a nun to commit GBH, he says "Other teams in England should be knocking on our door, teams like Tottenham, Newcastle, Villa, Everton, it's more about them getting their houses in order rather than us coming down to their level." And yet, it's true. You'd expect that with the money we've spent but I agree he should be more humble. Is he honestly suggesting the fact that Chelsea are £578 million in debt, to one man, entitles him to brag? Or the fact that we can 'afford' to shell out ridiculous sums of money, not only for the big time Charlies who demand £150,000 a week until they get their pension (chip off the old block with that sort of loyalty eh?) but also for players who wouldn't even recognise the inside of Stamford Bridge? Then again, maybe it's because he knows we'll be self-sufficient by 2010?! Those debts were mostly spent for buying players, which won us 2 titles and a few cups. Besides, how can a club be indebted to its owner?
  10. Of course, the Robinho saga seems to be only reason. I don't see how a single mistake can make him not good enough for us or anyone else. A mistake that might not even be his fault at all. It's very possible Roman didn't want to pay more for Robinho. Or that the Man Utd owner back then told him to reduce the Ronaldinho bid by 1 million.
  11. Would you please elaborate his faults without insults?
  12. Mancienne's haircut is just as bad, tbh...
  13. ^ I really hope that isn't true. That'd be awesome but a 1-0 win would be good enough IMO.
  14. No, but they can have Deco & Malouda if they want.
  15. I'm aware of that due to personal experiences and my world is hardly sugar coated. Yeah, well, do you know for certain all of the compromises were made by Nael in their marriage? It takes two to tango and all that. Still better than having no proof at all. And if the stories aren't true, Frank could've sued whoever wrote the news like Cech & Roman did.
  16. What, are you having visions of her future? I don't know whether she will remain single or not but no, she most likely won't fall in love with another Nael. Oh, and your last post is a contradiction. First you say it's okay for Frank to cheat on Elen because she's ugly and then you said you weren't being chauvinistic/sexist...
  17. Yeah, well, maybe it's the only pic they could sneakily take...
  18. Sure, if it's football-related rumours or other weird things like UFO. But it isn't and it was reported twice.
  19. Well, that is IF she found another millionaire. So if you have an ugly daughter and her fiance cheated on her, you would blame your daughter for being ugly in the first place, right? Or how would you feel if you have an ugly mother and your father cheated on her? So she isn't attractive, doesn't make it okay for Frank to cheat on her.
  20. It was on the news. Still much, much less than what she'd get as his fiance/wife IMO.
  21. ^ They've already split for a year before she met Lampard. And if she's truly power-hungry, she would never leave Frank even though he cheated on her more than once.
  22. Read the whole article and the divorce was a technicality IMO. "She felt that I was holding her back from doing things. I said, "No, I don't want a divorce. Maybe we just need time." But she still moved out. I would ring her and ask her to come back but it didn't work." Unable to cope with his crumbling marriage, Nael retreated to Amman, Jordan, to his parents' home where he continues to live with eight of his ten siblings. He heard nothing from Elen for more than a year until late in 2002 when she made the call to tell him that she had met another man.
  23. Well, he's cheated on her more than once so I think it's good she's brave enough to dump him. Despite the money Frank's earning, unlike Ashley's wife. 'Atta girl!
