  1. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12722913/James-Maddison-snaps-John-Terry-former-Chelsea-captain-mocked-Tottenham-loss-Blues.html JT trolling Spurs again.
  2. I think we would have continued to get chances, because of their high line. But, with our wastefulness in front of goal Spurs probably would have edged it in the final result.
  3. Yeah, we need a reliable goal scorer. Nkunku can't return fast enough. Maybe he can grow into a better striker as he matures. I still like him as a player, especially with his contributions to build up play., but we need a lot more from a starting 11 striker.
  4. I like to cling on to this fairy tale of Kylian Mbappe realizing his childhood dream of playing for Chelsea. Maybe a fat chance, but the fat lady hasn't sung yet. Florent Malouda still thinks it's possible, lol. Could become a battle of the blues in the Premier League. Mbappe in one corner, Haaland in the other.
  5. Could even go false 9, like against Arsenal. It confused the heck out of the Arsenal CBs because they didn't know who to mark. I don't like false 9 formations, but if your strikers are coming up with duds, then why not.
  6. Wow. Every single post of yours is just negative. You really just come on here to rant (or troll) don't you.
  7. Massive attitude problems and seemingly no end product. Would be typical if we went in for him.
  8. Agreed. Essien is more skillful on the ball than both Kante and Makelele. Even a decent aerial threat. Also a great passer of the ball, long and short. Also had great shooting range. Even played RB for us in the Champions league final in 2008. I would in fact take prime Essien over Makelele & Kante.
  9. Ramires could score double figures in a season.
  10. And revert to the usual setup he did. Don't know why he prefers to stick with only 1 flying fullback. Gusto and Cucurella had Arsenal pegged back for large periods last week, but for Brentford he wanted to go for more defensive solidity. Why do this against Brentford at home? And why use Disasi for this? Guy has been directly/indirectly responsible for at least 3 goals conceded this season. Was Gusto dropped because he failed to stop Trossard for Arsenal’s equalizer? If any one should be dropped after that game, it should've been Sanchez.
  11. I don't think last week was a blip though. We were in winning form coming into the game. Momentum killed after a silly mistake. The problem is that this squad is ripe for making mistakes. There are talented players in here, but also quite a few weak links that can drag down the team.
  12. We should stop affording players like Disasi and Sanchez more chances. They are 25+, and should be nearly there if not already. Maybe someday we will get a French coach and Disasi will undergo a Rudiger like transformation, but why that's just wishful thinking
  13. We nearly beat Arsenal last week. (Sounds like a Spurs DVD title) Fast forward to next week, they are cruising and we are back in the mud. Repeat of what happened against Liverpool at the Bridge. We were the better side. We draw, they go on to put together a winning run. We fall flat.
  14. All our attackers are struggling, yet one of Arsenal’s 'bang average' strikers gets a hat-trick.
  15. The next PL game is on a Monday. Another Monday game in just...2 months? 3 non-weekend games from the first 10, and one game moved to Christmas eve. They just love Chelsea.
  16. Disasi ball watching for the first goal. The 2nd one was just comical. Ideally Sanchez would have slide tackled the attacker and got himself sent off.
  17. Didn't watch the game - but why was Gusto dropped for Disasi? And both Gusto & James on the bench?
  18. I think the fact that we're upset at not winning this match is a good sign. Should have been 3 wins out of 3, which is top 4 form IMO, so we're not far off from where we want to be, even though the league table doesn't show it yet. The league cup match against Blackburn can't come at a better time. Time to progress in the cup competition and restart the winning streak.
  19. The Chelsea FC hospital. You check in....but you don't check out.
  20. Which Premier League team is under-performing most? Opta say 11th is about right for Man United, Chelsea would be flying if they could score, Newcastle should be second... and Spurs are lucky https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12644779/Premier-League-Man-United-Chelsea-Newcastle-Spurs.html
