This happened in our highest ever scoring season too. That season though, we would bounce back quickly from disappointing results, as title winning sides should. We're not in a title race, but we so need to win our next game. I don't think this young team and inexperienced manager has the acumen to rescue itself if the winless streak continues.

Agreed. Not sure if this was a reaction to the last game, but not switching out Nkunku and Disasi after the break, after that lousy first half, was bad. Too soon to say if team harmony was affected after rumblings from Madueke and co, even with back to back defeats, but the last 2 matches have been poor.

Palmer would have to be moved out of position. I don't mind that in SOME games where he's being double or triple man marked, but in this one his influence is too much. And Nkunku, like Madueke, has been next to anonymous today.

Back in training, but won't feature before the end of the year, according to Maresca., because he wants to take time building back his fitness. Hope he can suggest something different for his physical conditioning too. With Gusto and Cucurella both fit, we are okay, but the moment we need to bring in a Disasi we are conceding a lot of advantages we have. This is where James is missed. We need a backup LB for sure., but the priority should be a top tier CB (if possible)

True, this is the first time we've failed to score since opening day. And the other positive aspect is that we earned a clean sheet on the one occasion it really mattered.i.e. when we failed to score the other end of the pitch.
