  1. Can do better, but...have to remember he's only 18. Not every player is like Messi or Mbappe. Him being paid 6 figures a week (which is probably due to difficulty in negotiations), won't change that.
  2. OGS is like the new Kenny Dalglish ... Managing shit teams with a shit style but still manage to pick up wins consistently against Chelsea. Annoying match, and felt we should have done more in attack. Was interesting to see CHO and Pulisic to start together, but a bit underwhelming in the end. But its to be expected. This is still a young team, and not yet the finished article. There will be inconsistencies. Despite that, we have 7 wins in a row, and followed by 1 defeat, that is still a fantastic achievement. We fielded a weaker side and got undone only by set pieces. There will be more to come with returning players.
  3. VAR ....,a piece of dogshit, made to pull out dogshit teams from the fire. You know which teams...
  4. Hope he gets more minutes. At least, a lot more than what he has got in the past 5 games
  5. You must be thinking of a handful of games, like those he had against United when thugs like Young and Herrera tried to do a number on him. Other than those few examples, how can you say that he shied away from tackles? There's a reason he was the most fouled player in the league when he was here. And that earlier comment on here by @Costa19 sounds just wrong. How can you wish ill will on a player who contributed so much when he was here? For 7 years at that! Not sure how his Madrid exploits can bother you.
  6. Remember when Franco DiSanto was the only known youth player featuring for a Chelsea 11? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
  7. I don't know about deserved or undeserved, but we were desperately unlucky. Near misses, VAR, fantastic setpieces from Liverpool, and two injuries to defenders within the first half. We also held control for good portions of the game, and kept the deadly Salah and Mane relatively quiet. Don't want to sound like Ty from Arsenal fan TV, but we were unlucky in this match.
  8. Worst of it. It was marginal. You should really favor the attacking side in those situations.
  9. Truly the only thing worth mentioning and acknowledging. Probably all you can ask for at this point I admit that I was pretty frustrated at half time when we were 2 down due to ill luck. But have to remember, this is a work in progress team, with a work in progress manager, with players missing due to injury.
  10. Seriously, did some tinpot Liverpool fan make some hideous sacrifice before the game? The amount of luck they've had in this game is staggering
  11. Piece of s**t Coquelin, with that horror tackle. That ex goon idiot's head must still be spinning after Hazard left him rolling on his arse a few years ago.
  12. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/09/02/cesar-azpilicueta-shows-frank-lampards-problem-chelsea-not-youth/amp/ No need to beat a dead horse, but it's really some of the experienced players who are letting Frank down atm. Others are pointing it out too Graeme Souness pointed the finger at Azpi just 2 games into the season
  13. I agree with your points about Reece James. There is no guarantee that he will be the answer. But you cant mask Azpis faults in any way. Sure other players might not be helping, but those dispossession stats showing that he gave away the ball, not twice, but 3 times as much as any other player, including those from Sheffield United? That's just embarrassing for a player at his level. And no, him playing next to a green CB has nothing to do with the fact that he got beaten for both the crosses that led to the goals. And this is not the first match this happened this season.
  14. Looking like Ivanovic at his worst, and when Ivanovic was at his worst, that happened in the infamous Mourinho season. Hope Lampard can address this situation sooner rather than later. Wish we had options ready from the bench. Heck, would even take Alonso as an option at this point.
  15. Doesn't mince words here. I'm glad that he acknowledges the problem and has admitted that we were absolute tosh in the 2nd half of the game. First step towards fixing the problems.
  16. Relax, he hasn't played any football in over a month. And we are most likely going to have to rely on him a LOT, in the games coming up.
  17. Fucking bullshit again. Bunch of scumbags. Hate FIFA. Hate Bayern I hope both those entities go into fucking ruins.
  18. Really happy with the way Chelsea and the youth played today. I think Frank's ideas for the team are slowly coming into effect. Come home, Frank. Let the season begin at Stamford Bridge.
  19. I'm curious about your opinion. In what way was this better than Courtois? Thibhaut was actually long adamant about the Madrid move. It was no secret. That's why he even tried thanking Chelsea fans after the move, but of course, got burned by the fans when doing do so. Luiz seems to have just thrown his toys out at the first opportunity and disrespected not just the club, but his former teammate who won the CL with him. In the end I accept that all players are ultimately professional and are free to choose their paths. But there is no sugarcoating this one. He clearly didnt want to prove himself again and just bailed
  20. Obvious. He just wants to stay in London. I'm thankful for his great moments, especiallyin the Champions league, but he really is just a faker. I'll never forget the countless games he threw away against weaker teams last season alone because of his apathetic defending. He never really cared. This is no different from Courtois. So I dont wish him anything bad. Just thank you and good bye.
  21. I dont think you can honestly say 'pure struggling' after watching the match from last Saturday. I'll admit I didnt see Fridays match, but if you're saying that you only saw 'pure struggling' in 3 friendlies, I'm sorry but that just sounds like BS.
  22. Didnt even know this match existed. I hate finding out about a Chelsea match only after it happened, and even more so when we lose it. I will watch the Barcelona game.
