Being at home has nothing to do with it imo, we need to keep them from scoring, do that and we're in the semi's. Just play a normal cautious game, and we will inevitably find spaces when they come forward in search of a goal.

We have a 1 goal lead, we don't need to do any attacking Just try to contain them, and hit on the counter like communicate said, or through set pieces.

I agree, 45m is too much to turn down for any player! But i doubt they're willing to offer that much, probably just bs from the media.

In terms of overall play, he wasn't as good as he has been recently imo. But i'm not complaining, he got himself into good positions to score, scored a very good goal to seal the win, and also had a brilliant assist when Villa had all the momentum.

We will know in 1-2 days. Didn't look 'that' serious though.

Disagree, he's anything but average. Only thing about him that is average is perhaps his finishing atm. Another type of striker - most of the strikers we're linked too are exactly Torres' type, but Torres is better in terms of overall contribution.

Because? i doubt the club will sell him if he continues playing well. Different scenario if he asks to leave though.

I've given Sturridge a lot of stick, but his play leading up to the Torres goal was just brilliant and very unselfish. He ended his league drought also
