Extra target? As in he no longer wants Rooney? Or Willian plus 1? Because he mentioned if Willian comes we will sell 1, plus loan some
-
If Willian joins I dont think it affects Mata personally. If Utd reject our bid after Mondays game, we just move to plan B whoever it is. I'd be more inclined to believe that if Willian joins, Moses will go. Oscar will go to CM, and Mikel will go
-
You know what will be most hilarious. Is if he does actually go to Spurs, their mong fans will then claim they stole him from us LMAO. When infact he has just done what he should have done yesterday, but trolled them for 24hrs. Hilarious. On a side note, can't see Mourinho giving too much away today, i even think he may deny it (even though we know he will be lying) and, I would have thought either way WIllian will join us or Spurs today. Thats if the talks were advanced as SSN claim.
-
I read an article somewhere, forgotten where, it basically said Mourinho was considering idea of playing Oscar CM. This was what had me convinced we will be selling Mikel
-
Dont see a striker joining if Willian does, really dont. Mind you, mourinho said he has conditions to bring in a player, a striker, and a lot of media claim this willian deal is purely roman pushing it through. So a "gift" if you will
-
Won't mention it IMO. He will keep quiet, or act like nothing is happening.
-
This stuff about him being at spurs and his agent hawking him about to hurry spurs up. Its hardly likely he had the pen in his hand and spurs suddenly slowed everything down, to do the medical and fly him over, Kia joorabchian has probably been paid what he wanted in all honesty, although i kind of agree he could be lying about our interest to scare spurs but SSN did report today that willian was considering his options, maybe thats where we bid?
-
Of course, if he ends up going there, he is the best thing since sliced bread and is better than Hazard and they can finally win the league (according to them lot)
-
Top player, would like to sign him, but dont see where he fits in, and given that his agent is joorabchian, got to think its a little bit of bullshit from him to scare tottenham into paying up
-
Dimarzio seems to know his stuff. Roman and Kerimov are pals aren't they? 37m euros is higher than what spurs offered. IF accepted i see no reason he would turn us down, Chelsea fan i thought?
-
And those Utd fans saying £15m + Mata for Rooney are on acid. Rooney plus money for Mata more fucking like
-
Must be the team that play in the same league as Manchester Yankees?
-
We won't run that risk. There will be a date that Mourinho will want this completed by, and if it isn't he will just move to plan B. If we were to bid deadline day morning and it got rejected, by the night you'd probably see Eto'o or Jackson Martinez (guessing) join
-
I wonder why he hasnt handed it in yet? Possibly Stretford? I dont know if you remember this, but Coleen Rooney wanted to buy a dog for the family home once, and Rooney wouldn't buy it until he'd spoken to Stretford first... this transfer for them is all strategic, they know what theyre gona do (if anything) and when. And it makes absolute sense to do it after we play you, doesn't it? Think about it. "I wouldn't sell Madrid a virus"..... All posturing, if you believe the "not for sale" to be conrete and 100%, then crack on
-
If the day comes where Rooney hands in his transfer request or goes public, you wont see them on here, and if he signs, theyll never be seen again
-
Oh like the Swansea game? Oh wait.... In all seriousness, I look forward to fulltime Monday when Jose walks to Rooney and says "get that request in" This reminds me exactly of when we wanted Torres and Liverpool fans gave it the old "Dalglish said hes not for Sale, and John Henry, so fuck off. Hes going nowhere, as if we wil sell him deadline day, hes signed new deal, not for sale, bla bla bla" Deadline day.... Torres joins Chelsea
-
My po Of course. Eto'o probably.
-
What can Stretford do? Ask any player who has been his client. Everyone you read about has said, he will push and push and force. IF Rooney was going to hand in a transfer request, it was more than likely always going to be after this game, think about it. Rooney could have easily put all this to bed about leaving but has chosen not to. There is nothing whatsoever to say that privately Utd haven't promised him something provided you sign someone first. If we dont get Rooney, it'll more likely be Ba, Torres, Lukaku, Eto'o
-
Not Moyes tbh, Fergie has. The bid will be nearer £40m if we get him imo
-
This will be our 3rd bid, Paul Stretford is a snake, and he will do everything he possibly can to get Rooney to Chelsea, partly because he will make millions off it. As if Utds fucking top brass have been speaking to Daniel Taylor. I could easily turn round now and say that following Mourinhos decision that Luiz is going nowhere, it was also agreed at boardroom level. Our last bid will be about £40m as we get closer to deadline and more desperate. When we bid for Torres we started at £25m and went to £50m. Something like the Glazers saying "Rooney is going absolutely nowhere" is not something which will be for Daniel Taylor only is it? Really....
-
Just sounds to me like Jose has been given more than a slight bit of encouragement in this deal. He has basically told Utd we are going to bid again, why do that if you know it is going to be rejected? Unless of course Rooney's agent has told Jose after the game Monday, Wayne is going to hand in his transfer request
-
Eto'o if he joins at say £5m, is good business. Providing his wages are dropped significantly. I'd bet good money he will be near the top of the scoring charts come May
-
If you think Mourinho has no Plan C you are a tool. You really think his list of potential strikers to target consists of only Rooney plus one other? Dear me. Obviously we don't know for sure, but I'd guess there are about 5 or 6 names on the list. Players the press have no clue whatsoever about
-
The Express article is clearly bullshit. Rooney has not issued a Transfer request or gone public (yet) so to raise it by £3m is a waste of time. They are using our previous 2 bids as a guide. (£23m + add-ons, then £25m plus add ons) Our next bid should be about £35m, if rejected, on deadline day or just before we slap £40m in. If rejected again we then move on. Reason I say on deadline day is to give Utd time to sign one or 2 maybe 3 players, then softens the blow for fans if Rooney goes
