  1. Think of like I said previously. If I played for Chelsea for example, do not want to leave, leaving has never crossed my mind. Yet almost everyday I am seeing stories about me telling the board I want to go, and want to go and play for Man City/Utd, and and determined to get out, I wouldn't be letting them pass me by. I'd be straight on blower to my lawyer, and straight on my twitter saying "Ignore tabloids, I have never asked to leave, I want to stay!!" Silence is deafening eh, Wayne?
  2. so deny it!! This is what we are saying, if he has not asked to leave like the press bang on about deny it! Or get a rep to deny it. He hasn't So basically then, on worldwide TV in an interview after Swansea game, just as your about to life the title, Fergie lied through his teeth? Nice one. You have people who report for Manchester Utd, that Andy Mitten or whatever chairman of some Utd fan thingy, all saying they've been told he wants to go. And this bollocks about seeing what the fans react like first? Behave, as if that'll make a difference The only stories about the denial of a transfer request are non quoted. "However when asked if Rooney wanted to leave Manchester United, manager David Moyes refused to deny this" Not once in his unveiling did Moyes say "Wayne has told me he does not want to leave Manchester United" I'm amazed how many Utd fans think you'll get Fabregas and Ronaldo this window
  3. The only statement he released, even after the transfer request story from Fergie, was one saying about the Nike thing on his twitter. Sounds like a guy desperate to set the record straight, eh
  4. He only stayed in 2010 because of them fucking gangs outside his house with balaclavas and threatening him. If that hadn't happened I'd bet my house he would have joined City. When the transfer request story got denied, I never seen any quotes attributed to Rooney, just articles. Hardly "fact" (although there could be quotes somewhere on the web) Right think of this then, let's say he wanted to stay the whole time, and sees all these reports that he wants to go, is determined to leave, wants to play for Chelsea, has a agreement in priniciple, and thinks "these are all bullshit" why isn't he, or his reps denying it. Because there is nothing to deny, he has been silent. I find it hard to imagine Fergie, the most respected manager in the world, telling a barefaced lie about him wanting to leave. Now me, if my manager lied about me wanting to leave, or the press made up rumours about me, I'd be looking to sue the shit out of the tabloid, and I'd be asking my boss for an apology... I see neither. I have forgotten the journos name (may have been paul hayward), but I remember him saying few weeks back it is crazy how much info the press are being given from Rooneys camp, he was one of the ones who had access to the info. This will all boil down until deadline day, when a mega bid will go in
  5. Daily Star say he wants to stay... LOL daily star, could be true though..... na, maybe
  6. Strategic. Wait until deadline day is approaching, or until after the Rio testimonial as reported, it'll hot up.
  7. As if the fans reaction will decide the outcome. So suddenly, after about 2months of wanting out, he will suddenly consider staying if he is not booed. Never heard such shit in my life. The guy has not denied one story, either via a statement or a representative, about wanting to leave and come here. So fans booing is not going to matter one inch, if anything, fans booing him will just speed up the transfer request. Daily Mail are unreal, christ.
  8. both mention a 2nd bid, which is obvious. Mourinho said in one of the papers the striker he wants doesnt cost 50m and he can spend up to 30m (i think) without affecting the balance at all. So obviously anything over 30m, puts us X amount down in our projected balance. IE: Rooney for 40m, means we have to make 10m somewhere to get us back to our target for this financial year. Saying Utd will sell him abroad probably IS their preferred choice. As would ours be if say Utd and Madrid wanted Oscar, id much rather give him to madrid than utd
  9. 1. Pretty much public knowledge he wants to leave, People will say "yeh but Rooney hasn't said this publicly" True, but he also hasn't denied any stories of wanting to leave and join Chelsea either, no smoke without fire. 2. Sounds plausible, but I'd be more inclined to think he has been told if he has any chance of joining us, it'll be after the league game in August. (maybe this is why there is no TR, he knows he wont need one) And I said before I think he will not play 3. His agent will have definitely spoke to Utd's board to inform them Rooney wants out, obviously knows more than the media so you could be right with what you said 4. Definitely not, I wouldn't publicly confirm a bid for a player I don't want. That's just stupid. Mourinho loves Rooney, has done since he got interviewed at Madrid and said if Rooney ever wants to leave Utd, call me. Rooney will probs play every game for Utd from August 6th (sweden?), get fit, then if he joins i reckon deadline day blockbuster
  10. I think it is/has been. But I didn't expect a great deal to happen while we were in Asia. Could get going next few days, but as i said earlier my prediction is after the league game.
  11. Mourinho insists he is still calm about our chances of signing Rooney. Also goes on to say one bid has been made, which was public
  12. I don't think Rooney is staying quiet to let things blow over. He has had almost 3 months to release some sort of statement just saying he is sorry and wants to knuckle down and play. He hasn't. During this whole saga of being angry and confused, he has not once come out and denied anything the papers have said, or his reps/agent haven't. Whether it be the fact he wants to leave because Fergie is still about, wants to come to Chelsea and his heart is set on it, has already told Moyes and Ed Woodward he still wants to go via telephone. The silence is deafening, and the non-denials, or even statements committing himself to Utd, are proof his head is already elsewhere.
  13. Starting to think we haven't lodged a 2nd bid yet because there could be some sort of gentlemans agreement between the clubs to do business after we play Utd end of August. Why else would Jose and the club be so confident of getting him. I would not be surprised if Rooney has been told Utd will negotiate with us after that game, and that is why he has not handed in his TR. Because he knows he probably isnt going to need it. I wonder if Rooney misses the game due to a "knock" If he doesnt play in that game, I'd bet my house he is joining
  14. Seen some quoting the gaurdian earlier who claimed utd and chelsea had a secret agreement to not comment on Rooney. I think we haven't lodged that 2nd bid, as Utd may have said "come back after the league game"
  15. A billboard won't change anything, if Rooney has told Moyes and the chief exec he wants to leave; then a poster will mean fuck all. Still wouldn't surprise me if he stayed either
  16. That guy on SSN also said the pre-conception is that Rooney has burnt all his bridges at Man Utd, and his understanding is that this is correct. Of course he will play in Rio's testimonial, to refuse to play in that would be really pushing it too far. Utd know what they're doing, they will sell after we play them, deadline day i reckon this goes through
  17. Which reporter was it. James Cooper?
  18. I got SSN and must have missed that Rooney stuff about wanting to play in the August friendly. Mind you, I think it is Rio's testimonial so understandable
  19. Deal will be done after league game IMO. And I bet he misses the game due to a "knock"
  20. If Chelsea offer £40m, which includes add ons, as the Telegraph claim, he will be on his way. If Utd say no then there is no chance of them selling. Anything under £30m will get rejected, simply because they paid £25m for him and IF he does go they want to be able to say "Well, despipte our efforts to keep Wayne, and given his unhappiness recently the offer was too good to refuse"
  21. If they reject £40m, should the story be true, move on
  22. Rob Beasley on Twitter, a Chelsea fan, said earlier he has big Chelsea news tonight. This bid is apparently the news
  23. To one of the above posters, or previous page about Utd not selling to us or City. I suppose you mean in the same way Arsenal would never sell their best striker to Utd? Oh shit they did. Or like Utd saying to Chelsea Veron is going nowhere, woops we signed him too. It's all posturing. The only club they'd dare not sell him to is City. Rooney can make this move happen but he will need to push for it, publicly.
  24. I would imagine when their CEO finally gets back from Australia, he will chat to Rooney and his agent and see exactly if Rooney wants to leave.
