  1. Not surprised. He's very reliable apparently
  2. CL and being in London with his GF is what gives us the edge over Utd. Arsenal now ruled out too. Starting to think the spanish press may be onto something with us...
  3. David Ornstein @bbcsport_david · 4m Arsenal have informed Barcelona they won't be exercising buy-back option on Fabregas. He was keen but #afc not seeking a creative midfielder Highly reliable when it comes to Arsenal. Think he supports them
  4. where you see pique and del bosque laugh, apparently its right after del bosque says something like "you are going to make the barca president mad by telling me that"
  5. dont think there will be anything official from Chelsea on the deal. Or anything about a fee being agreed, if anything itd probably just be the morning papers reporting whats already said... maybe few extra bits
  6. Be surprised if the morning papers in Spain dont have something extra on this story. Even if our press did report on it, they'd just report what the Spanish are saying
  7. It is going to be a monumentous LOL if it isnt us though isnt it. Everything points to us, but christ itd be ridiculous
  8. why is it when every single, decent Spanish source says Chelsea and Barca have an agreement or Chelsea and Cesc, Balague always says "no agreement...yet"
  9. Why would Spains national coach be in on the joke too? By the way, Man City fans are not having it, they refuse to believe it's not them signing him and they have just done it under the radar
  10. guessing that's catalan radio? Surely they wouldnt be wrong?
  11. That btntgaz on twitter must be fuming he wasn't first on the Fabregas story
  12. given the animosity between Mourinho and Cesc, it probably would take that kind of wage to get him to put things aside and work with him. Jesus christ, enormous wages
  13. I have seen the video and he does say cesc and 33m euros, but one of our spanish speakers will have to dissect and tell us whether its fake or not http://www.rtve.es/deportes/20140604/pique-somos-candidatos-pero-unicos-favoritos/948450.shtml
  14. Sounds unlikely. If true though, be surprised if it isnt us
  15. funny you mention that, guy on twitter, Jake Cohen [think hes a lawyer] worked out that with new broadcasting deals and revenue streams and player sales so far, we could spend £150m on players and still pass FFP
  16. Correct me if im wrong, but the Costa fee was paid or agreed before the Luiz sale? So that money from Luiz sale still hasnt been touched?
  17. Yeh and Rob Beasley actually said a good while ago he has agreed everything for £32m. That Gaz was just coming across as more opinion based tweets than fact. Beasley reported Ashley Cole leaving, before Cole himself tweeted it. He gets a bit of a hard time, but IMO Beasley is pretty good with CFC news
  18. Only thing I can deduct from the press reports is we may have indeed spoken to Darren Dein, Fabregas' agent, and agreed some sort of package. Agreeing the fee with Barca, if we do at all, will more than likely happen after Costa is official or Luis
  19. Not buying that at all. Fabregas is prem proven, and a very good player who is readily available and would be much easier to sign. Koke is going to go to Barcelona. If it is Roman who wants Fabregas, I think we will end up with him
  20. Gaz ‏@BtntGaz 9m People giving credit to Rob fucking Beasley re: Costa - I can only assume they don't follow me. This is exactly why this twitter user annoys the fuck out of me.
  21. Gaz ‏@BtntGaz 25m I note with amusement the Fabregas rumours have all but died today. Duno why but he really annoys me. Comes across as a "know it all". The rumours have died as no one has reported anything new
  22. anyone think we may be just wanting to finalise costa and maybe luis before moving on with fab deal?
  23. I think it will, too. As I posted Koke and Pogba unlikely due to one being more than likely Barca bound and one being about 15m more expensive. The news about Fab being a board decision was from a portugese guys tweet
  24. By process of elimination, and our board having a say i think we will end with Fabregas. Koke, would prefer Barca, most spanish players would so i think he will end up there. Pogba will cost about £15m-20m more than Fabregas.
