I disagree. apart from the 92 class. These are list of youth that Fergie promoted into the first team and went on to nudge huge amount of games under their belt. Wes brown, Fletcher,Oshea,Cleverly, da silva twins and Welbeck. And others like Gibson, Macheda et al were given opportunities but later moved on when it became clear they weren't good enough. If that's not impressive for an absolutely elite team with even bigger pressure to challenge for trophies than us then I don't know what is.

Jose better not claim the credit for that because we all know he wouldn't have brought him on if Costa hadn't picked up a knock. I just heard the commentator say he was getting ready to bring on Cuadradro, not remy before the injury. I don't know what Remy has to do for Jose to start trusting him to start these matches.

Thibo makes ammends

So he made absolutely no changes at halftime.

Even if we win the league, it still has been a very disappointing second half of the season.

Let's see how Jose and the team responds in the 2nd half. We have been conceding far too many chances and relying heavily on Thibo and Cech since late December and it's finally catching up on us.

The issue with this team starts with the manager. His team selections and squad management have been questionable through out the season, His tactical nous and influence have been minimal and largely ineffective at best, He's either not recognising or failing to address the many weaknesses of this team i,e inability to retain possession under pressure, retreating and handling opposition initiative after going ahead, lack of consistent high pressing,players who consistently make individual defensive mistakes continue to play and so on.

wow hull have actually outplayed us in this half. this is shocking. i hope Jose actually has a plan in the 2nd half other than writing no balls note on a piece of paper.

it's so easy to tell we don't practice this aspect of the game in training nor does the manager even encourage it.

Cahill and Ivanovic have no business starting this game for starters and then there's our inability to retain possession and control matches, the tendency to drop off after scoring, the negative tactics and so on.
