  1. please play zhirkov, please please play zhirkov. I would be so happy if McEachran and Zhirkov were put in together, that would make my day week life. because it's about freaking time gah It's lucky we're sure for second though, cos Everton causes serious bricking when it matters IMHO
  2. Agreed Sh0n3x, this forum is amazing - I love the friendly atmosphere, and the admin/mods are brilliant, so on top of everything. Keep up the excellent work, everyone.
  3. Exactly. Also, this is just a great post in its entirety. While, as others mentioned, we were sorely lacking in form for a good part of the season, finishing second is something we should be proud of considering how much change was going on behind the scenes and on the pitch. We will punch forward next season, ktbffh.
  4. I signed up - been playing around with tactics and training, so I'm eager for the season to start. Never done anything like this before; it looks fun.
  5. LAMPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD OH YOU BEAUTIFUL THING YOU
  6. Thank you Jim, et al - changing my password now.
  7. I'm not especially good at hating people (I think the most I've gotten to on an average day is a strong dislike), but I definitely know where it comes from.(the blue genes - lol blue genes - install a sort of race memory in the lot of us, don't they? ;D). However, if I were to place a couple of strong dislikes, they would be Manchester United and Barcelona. Coming up behind them would be Arsenal and Everton. I "get" the Liverpool rivalry because I was watching as it was hotting up. It's mostly a source of amusement for me, though. re: non-football teams - The New York Yankees. (I apologise if anyone here is a Yankees fan, but I'm a Mariners fan, and ... yeah. That's pretty much all the explaining I need to do. xD)
  8. I highly doubt that's anything more than football foiler dropping Though I will go on the record saying that it's a terrible idea anyway, having Drogba and Torres tripping over each other in a game this big. I'll eat my hat. The fedora, too. re: Lamps - respect. xD
  9. I also live in the USA; it's a pleasure to meet you! Which state, if I may be so bold to ask? Welcome to the board as well! KTBFFH!
  10. That was my first ever Chelsea match! <3 It saddens me that I didn't get to spend much quality time with Zola - everything I've seen and read points to him being a model player.
  11. This. I only wish he would've looked happier about it. (Although I think everyone else made up for it quite nicely.)
  12. Thanks for that lovely shoutback. Hard to believe, isn't it?
  13. F*ck me. What a match. I could've straight-up hugged Kalou. (What's all this crap about hypocrisy, though? Bad calls are made all the time - you're supposed to complain when it's not in our favour ) Still.
  14. I don't know; I think now Torres is both in club and gaining right form, we should see Drogba stepping up his game. (Shouldn't be too difficult, right? He's a bloody surgeon where technique is concerned.)
