All our rivals teams have produced a perfect result to start of their year! I am preparing to be disappointed and see more melt down and more knee jerk reactions about sacking Lampard, selling Kai, Werner turning flop ...etc.

If Lampard is predictable about one thing it is he will not play this!

I know the Arsenal game have left us in a bitter spot but everyone and even if we win 1-0 we will be happy to see a win result. Personally I just want to see improvement from Lampard one game we think we see some improvement in defense next 5 games there is a lot to be desired! Steady improvements would be very welcomed starting with this match?

Weren't Aston Villa the ones that thrashed Liverpool for 7 goals or something? Hopefully we get a result in this one

Decomposing Lampard and Chelsea string of poor results IMO( I am not technically nous person so take it with a pinch of salt) 1. Lampard still young manager - needs time ( I know you shouldn't be learning on the expense of such a huge club with such a fan base but how else can he gain the world class experience?) 2. Too many great players signed in short time and Lampard not getting enough time with them. Timo, Pulisic, Havertz, Ziyech all competing for spots where we had youngsters from last season who did a very good job there. The problem Lampard is facing is clear that he doesn't know whom to play where. 3. He is still trying to figure with this set of players what his play style is, I don't think I clearly understand what Lampard's tactics is at this point. 4. He is having hard time trying to find the balancing act? Keeping all players happy and also trying to get some of the youth academy talent time to showcase their talent? 5. He is clearly overwhelmed! Too many choices and when he has something kind of going players get injured! We are still yet to see a consistent set of starting 11 over course of many matches and when this happens the team has to be really well trained and in sync to kind of not show the absence of player on the pitch which clearly isn't the case here.

One match in between Kepa was on Goal vs Krasnador and we drew from there it has been downhill! Probably players thinking wait if he plays so badly and can retain his wages maybe if I also don't put effort even I can just relax and get my wages.

I also really hope the same. I just don't like the ordeal of us going through changing managers. I want someone like SAF if not 20+ years at the club like him(though that would be really awesome) atleast 4-5years I think would be good.

Boxing day Chelsea matches are always always a disappointment.

Wow Arsenal was in rock bottom we had a great chance to keep them that way with this suddenly they rise like a phoenix. This is just embarrassing. FFS we have such a good team we shouldn't be loosing atleast this badly!

United being run by 2 people Rashford and Bruno. We have so many quality players just that we need to have them all fired up! Lets get back to winning ways, and showing improvement with each match going forward.

Wolves and Everton were always going to be a difficult match. But the problem I had was Lamps starting 11. Havertz and Werner need to be rested and also need more training! The more they are on with sub par performances it will only get their confidence down further IMO. Olivier as much as people claim him to be great which there is no doubt does much better as sub player. Tammy is my go to pick for striker. I feel he offers more on pitch. KTBFFH. Hope Frank and the boys can turn this around.Complacency might be setting early for some of the players. On a lighter note: One match Kepa was in starting 11 his effects showed on Mendy vs Everton and now we are conceding goals.

+1 I was really hoping that Arsenal would atleast draw against spurs but doesn't look like that is going to happen. Mourinho would have instructed Spuds to defend for their life to hold on to this 2 goal lead. If Spurs are allowed to be on top I fear Mourinho will park the bus against big teams and crush smaller teams to maintain their position at top!

We conceded because Emerson didn't cover well. Proud of the boys but why did Mendy change how he moved for last one :facepalm:
