i swear. cesc's PR team has to be the best in the world. i mean, what a job... hats off!! :tophat: :tophat: :tophat:
-
sure dude. sure. whatever helps u sleep at night.
-
he was against everton and city. he was one of out best players against palace. so instead of trying to digress, why dont u talk about what u had said about him being AWFUL!!!
-
enough said??? so, not best player = awful???
-
wait till a half fit and totally out of form iva starts this game.
-
oh come on man!!!! just 2 years ago someone said he was going to be as good as cameron jerome. look at lukaku now. each and every aspect of his game has improved. his hold up play IS better than costa. his linkup play which is his biggest flaw is getting better by the game. his goal scoring rate is brilliant. what is he not improving on? so just cos costa led ATM to CL finals that means lukaku cant be as good. DD led us to the CL glory does that mean a 33 year old DD is better than the current costa. also, exactly which parts of lukaku's game is not as good as costa's? and to compare him to remy and bent, just WOW.

4-4-1-1 with hazard and pedro is essentially a 4-2-3-1.or rather it would eventually end up as a 4-2-3-1 itself. but i would not mind giving it a try as long as mr. no balls is out of the team. or the best possible thing is to simply turn to 4-3-3.
-
everton's first goal. yes. but overall he had a brilliant game. i remember the GN's analysis. but to be fair, i can point out a fault in every player for every goal that any team in the world concedes. plus, i remember GN talking about a midfield 4. hell, the point of playing cesc as a CAM is to make it a midfield 5. none of the clips that he showed even once had a midfield 5, courtesy cesc. and not once did GN talk about that. matic might not be the same player as last year, but he has been no where near to "awful". but unfortunately, in football, u are only as good as your last game. and matic has had 3 shockers on the trot (newcastle, porto sub and soton sub). so people are wrongly accusing him of being a problem, he is far from it. the problem lies with 2 players or rather 3 people, IVANOVIC, CESC and JOSE. have been saying this since the WBA line up came up. i remember u telling me "not to jump the ship so early", but i was not. if a manager cant drop 2 players after the way they performed against city, he was never going to drop them. the problem was evident and glaring at us since that early. right now, people are literally scapegoating each and every player to take the blame off the 3 main culprits. ps - just read the post below yours. "the most overrated player in the history of chelsea" and this guy is an oscar fan!!!
-
EXACTLY. WHY THE FUCK IS EVERYONE SAYING THINGS LIKE "SO JOSE HAS THE BACKING OF SO AND SO AND SO, YET PEOPLE ON HERE THINK...." GET IT? did the big and bold font help to make my point better?

8 tackles won, 4 interceptions made, 1 goal. http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/959776/LiveStatistics/England-Premier-League-2015-2016-Everton-Chelsea if that was a shocker, i would take a shocker every week. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/20594-everton-3-1-chelsea/page-9 he was probably the only player who could have walked with his head held up high. yes, he played alongside mikel, but mikel was poor in the game. the first 2 goals were avoidable if we had aina instead of iva as a RB. i am actually surprised by you saying that matic had a shocker.

http://www.goal.com/en/match/manchester-city-vs-chelsea/2043057/ratings "Did not play badly on an individual level but was let down by those around him in the middle as City came by time and again." http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/959776/Live/England-Premier-League-2015-2016-Everton-Chelsea 8.6 rating in a game where we lost 3-1. http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/959762/Live/England-Premier-League-2015-2016-Chelsea-Crystal-Palace 2nd highest rating in the team. so exactly when was he awful? 60minutes of newcastle? 17 against porto or 20 against soton? a total of 100 poor minutes of football has made him AWFUL? i am sorry, but the fact that most on here can see that matic is nowhere near the problem should be a good enough indicator.
-
answer the question. i am giving you 3 matches where among the outfield players matic was our MOTM. and you are saying he has been AWFUL, which could not possibly be further than the truth.
-
so u r telling me that matic as an individual was awful against everton or city or palace?
-
hazard's dribbling has been poor as has been his form. he is a player who relies on providing a moment of individual brilliance. so how can you even compare him to matic who is a DM. each and every DM even if he is busquets or makelele needs cover from his midfield partner(s). matic has had NONE. JT was a CB of the system. as soon as we played a high block, he became "poor". play a low-block again and JT will be as good as last season. matic has had good games like city, everton and palace and we have lost heavily in 2 of them. he had a poor game against newcastle and poor sub appearances against porto and soton (lol 20 minutes). and any player would go through what he is going through if u see cesc starting match after match yet you been dropped.
-
excuses? is this a joke? its an excuse that cesc has been found out multiple times in defence (and attack), that he has been useless. and actual LOL at anyone who thinks, "matic does not read the game at all". last year, he was the best DM in the world, today he cant read the game. watch the man city game. matic was very good. he did not put a foot wrong. there is only so much that one person can do specially when you are playing a 2 man mid, with a useless player like cesc along with u. but obviously, now matic does not have the positioning, reading, tackling or passing in his game. lol
-
you forgot the refs.
-
godin is untouchable cos he is one of the best CBs. plus since ATM, dont have a massive contingent of CBs in their squad, godin will start most matches. and that is not right for gabi. just last year simeone dropped gabi from juventus, malmo and getafe in october cos of his poor form. also, jose and meritocracy in the same sentence currently makes me laugh. there is a difference in "style of managing" and in the "characteristics" of the manager. they are both managers who normally are associated with a good defence and a good base on which they can build their teams. but simeone has dropped turan, has dropped miranda, has dropped gabi when they are not playing well. jose's favouritism towards one player like ivanovic or cesc is nothing more than that - favouritism.
-
did not simeone replace miranda with gimenez? totally wrong of you to put simeone and jose in the same bracket when talking about "veteran players". be it gabi/mario suarez/tiago/miranda. all of them have faced the axe when not performing well, unlike jose's cesc, iva.
-
spot on!!! one of the worst instances of man-management i have seen. as for his "form", when u have to control the whole mid yourself, any player in the history of football would struggle. we can clone makelele, and he would get owned playing alongside cesc as a DM. cant blame matic one bit. he will be out next summer. probably to city to replace yaya or maybe we sell him to arsenal and complete their squad (world class Gk and DM, something they had been clamouring for the last 10 years).
-
10 goals and 5 assists for an everton team which half the time looked like they were on their last breaths is now nothing, hmmm. did not CR want to leave united and SAF gave him some tough love about staying in united. well, thats the difference between the best manager in the world and the self prophisized best manager. lukaku is not??? really? which aspect of his game exactly? hmmm sure dude.
-
we never replaced luiz the CM. as a CB, i dont think he would have made any difference. but as a CM, he was immense.
-
actually if u had been paying attention. then u would have known that i have been moaning since the WBA win, infact before the match started and the team sheets came out and both iva and cesc were on it. this "player confidence" and "talks" seems so idiotic and looks so obvious that its almost funny. whats also funny is the fact that except for willian, none of these players should even be opening their mouths. they should be working on the training ground for that extra 10-15 minutes rather than giving useless interviews.
-
a 26 year old costa who has pretty much reached his peak compared to a 22 year old lukaku who even right now is as good as costa. but do continue to LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO. please continue the delusions.
-
they are all taking a leaf out of jose's book.
-
i am pretty sure no manager on the face of the earth would have started iva against everton/porto/soton if he actually had the club's best interest as his first priority.
