Rumours don't mean crap.

He could be the best English player for a decade. If anything the corporate business would love this guy more. He's also hardly injury-prone
-
He's nothing like prime Eto'o who was superior to Griezmann in pretty much every sense. Out of everyone named on this page, he's actually more like Schurrle if Schurrle was better at football.
-
I think the hope is that with age and some stability at the club, he can find some consistency, but of course you never know with young players. At worst, he and Hazard would form the most fouled duo in the world. JT would score 10+ easy with the amount of free kicks we can get.
-
Being English helps, but he's also already a very good PL player at 20. He's at least 4 years younger than Reus and Griezmann who are better at the moment but seem just as hard to buy if not harder (in Reus' case). They are also different types of players - Sterling being a better dribbler than Griezmann while Griezmann is a superior finisher for example.

Loftus-Cheek was a disgrace. What a terrible debut. Career done for. It makes me so upset. AAAAARGHHHHHHH

Owners definitely care about rivalries because their customers (fans) do passionately. They won't want to piss off an entire fan base (which Liverpool has globally) to make some easy profit off a transfer. Liverpool fans are already pissed at FSG for not investing. If the first transfer business between the two clubs since 1964 involved sale of their most promising English player, it would be the biggest PR disaster in football and a huge white flag if you've ever seen one. There's a reason why they never did business together for more than 50 years.

There was nothing Dortmund could do about Lewandowski and Gotze as Lewandowski's contract expired and Gotze had a buyout clause. Arsenal have been hammered for selling RVP to United, and even then United-Arsenal rivalry is nowhere close to United-Liverpool one. United wouldn't even sell Heinze to Liverpool. Liverpool won't sell their most promising player to United.
-
Yes.
-
United won't be in for him, because Liverpool won't sell him to them even if United offered twice the next highest offer. There would be riots if they saw Sterling in United shirt
-
He definitely has been worse than Marin, and let's not disrespect Moses by comparing him to Cuadrado.
-
This was not good enough? I love Ramires, but this was not a performance that made Ramires look world class. Talk about fooling yourself.
-
He wasn't fantastic by any means, but I'm not sure how he looked out of his depth. He was decent and didn't do much if any wrong.
-
Most players - good or bad - show glimpses of something good, but I don't remember him doing ANYTHING positive.
-
Jose just confirmed this was the last game playing key players. He will play kids like Ake and Brown against West Brom who are already safe. I imagine RLC will play 90 minutes next week
-
So they said about Torres. Cuadrado somehow is even worse than Torres. If I am Isaiah Brown, I'm pissed that this guy gets more playing time than him.
-
Our worst signing since Torres

Dreaming of midfield trio of Loftus-Cheek - Pogba Matic
-
Yeah no point starting Solanke if we are fielding a weakened team that will give him very little service. These games are supposed to give youngsters chance to play and hopefully confidence.
-
If all the key players except Ivanovic and JT are skipping this game: Cech Ivanovic-Zouma-JT-Luis Mikel-RLC-Ake Cuadrado-Remy-Brown

Just because some dumb journo made a mistake before, it doesn't mean this guy - who's a respected journalist no less - made the same mistake. How would you feel if people judged you based on some troll's comment on this forum.
-
Forget it, it's a simple case of what-have-you-done-for-me-lately. He of course had a perfectly fine season with Real just last year.
-
Well that's your opinion, and that wasn't even the point I was making. You assumed the journalist made a mistake with the currency, and I'm saying that you are not necessarily correct.
-
Put it this way, we bought Filipe Luis for less than the buyout when everyone expected us to pay the full amount. And we don't know how the club values Griezmann.
-
No one knows exactly what his buyout figure is. Everything's just speculation, and it could very well be that it's £43M
