There are very few Chelsea fans blame Torres, as rivals do. We can see the bigger picture on how he does not get the assists neccessary to his game. Hopefully Mata and Sturridge will start the ball rolling for a massive ammount of goals. BTW...I hate how Drogba is blamed. What the guy has done for this club over the years, he should receive 'justified' accolades. So, we bought Torres and cos the amount is soooo high, we both want and need to see justification for that money, and OK, the Torres and Drogba duet does not work...........that surely is not ONLY his fault!

This is going to be a difficult match to win, though I do see us get the points. Mata and Sturridge (HAVE TO PLAY) will make the difference. Would be great to see Meireles play also.....while he's no Modric, he's a great midfielder, goal-scorer and as an assist!

Just got back from the AFL Grand Final, and my team won and what a win! Brisbane Roar won on penalties and in my estimation t'was a well deserved win! Spoke with other Chelsea supporters (Central Coast Mariners as well-Sydney) and ALL (kinda got me really and seriously thinking) are upset (to say the least) with the Torres buy! Just an opinion from 'down under!'

Our Midfiield is DIRE!

Totally believe that torres was NOT a Carlo preference! Our biggest probs lie in midfield, and while Torres tried to play with fight and passion, he had no Gerrard (for instance) to play the ball into space! Waste of 50 mill imho....monies could of been far more wisely spent! He WILL score goals (I hope) though they will not come as easy as people expect. You have to look at Torres at Valencia, Liverpool and Spain.....sure....lots of quality goals....the majority however came from outstanding balls into 'his' space! Just my opinion and I hope I'm soooo wrong about it. On a more positive note......LUIZ.....AWESOME!

Too true! Reckon though he has well recognised this.....Romans answer was Torres and Luiz! While Torres will undoubtably score goals and Luiz appears a great buy, our whole squad needs some serious adds, not just for this season....for the future. All our main players are ageing and next season (without big changes) will see us having major probs!

Only 25 mill for Kaka, after paying 50mill for Torres.....BARGAIN!
