AVB did say that he wants to get young players, i'm happy about that. I'm also happy about him accessing the squad, and now he can make decisions in terms of whose in or out. I think now we just have to wait, i am sure we will get at least one more player before the season starts, and another player just before the transfer market closes.

I think we will buy a player or two, Gourlay did say he will sit down with AVB and discuss later transfers on this week. So i guess we still have to be patient.

I have mixed feeling about this... On the one hand it would be bad for us, because most youngsters would want to go and play for Barcelona, because they are the best side in the world. And that would mean less youngsters will join our academy. I don't know why they would set up an academy right next to us, why not some where else England. If i was going to start an academy for Barcelona i would pick somewhere in South america, for obvious reasons. I just think setting up an Academy in England is kind of weird. But on the other hand, This is good for England, and i mean very good. How long have we all been saying that we need to play good football, This academy will teach them how to play the Barca way, and that's only a good thing. Also i'm sure we would be able to steal a few of their youngsters, because right now i don't see any youngster breaking through into Barcelona's first team, unless they are world beaters. Even Thiago Alcantara is having a hard time breaking in to the first team, and honestly i would be shocked if he is not going to be one of the best players in the world in a few years time. Overall, there are positives and negatives about Barcelona starting their Academy right next to us, i for one think there are more positives, because this can only help the game we all love, Football.

To be honest i think Wilshere and Gerrard play completey different roles, i think Wilshere plays more like Josh than anything.

Don't think so mate, for some reason josh is not even in the u21, u20 and u19 competitions for us. When i watched England u21 euro's England never played well at all, our midfield was poor, and i think Josh could of made the difference but he wasn't picked, and honestly i don't know why.

I have to be honest here and as of late Lampard hasn't been doing that well for England, and as someone else said i would rather a Young talent like Wilshere be ahead of him. And honestly i think if Gerrard and Wilshere play together Wilshere will play behind Gerrard, and i think that would work perfectly.

Easy group for England, hopefully in 2014 McEachran and Wilshere will help us win the World cup.

Josh really played well in this competition, hopefully he get's more games this season. Imagine England in a few years time with him and Wilshere.

Yossi is good, but he is not getting any younger. I've seen Kakuta a few times and he hasn't really impressed, i remember two years ago he was meant to be our version of Messi, and for Fulham he didn't really play.., Hopefully josh will start more often next season, he was talking about going on loan next season if he doesn't get enough game, hope not.
