Haha, To be honest i had the same worriers (that he might be another Malouda), I also wanted us to buy a pacey winger instead of him. Although i still think we need a pacey winger, but not to replace Mata, obviously.

Who knows what 'would of' happened yesterday, Torres might of came on and scored, or he might have played poor. We don't know, he never came on so there's no point in discussing this. Not true, it's pointless because we're just guessing or predicting what would of happened if Torres came on. You keep on saying 'would of' and than making it out to be a fact, like for example, 'Putting Torres on would of basically taking a man off' see that's you're opinion, if i disagree it wouldn't mean much to you, and it's very unlikely I could convince you he 'would of' played well because at the end of the day, we both don't know. I'm not defending Torres in any way, I know he's been poor. But yesterday when we were 1-0 up we should of never went defensive, instead we should of brought on Torres and kept either Mata or Sturridge on. Wigan were chasing the game, we could of got them on the break, or exploited the amount of space they left open. There's no point in discussing it any more, we're neither right or wrong, it's just our opinion. It's pointless.

Thank you for calling me an idiot... I think you're exaggerating saying we need a new team for Torres to play, he played well against Man united and Swansea. But i think we do need another player who can spot his runs, and put him through on goal. All i was saying is that Drogba was poor yesterday, we should of kept on attacking and put Torres on. It was the perfect time, mainly because Wigan was looking for a goal, and that meant there was a lot space for our players to run into. Now don't get me wrong, I know Torres has been playing poor, and that Drogba deservers to be playing ahead of him. I just felt yesterday we could of put him on, instead of letting him sit another game out.

Once we were 1-0 up they took one defender off, and started chasing the game. That's when Torres should of came on in my opinion. Drogba was offering nothing. But instead we decided to bring on Mikel and just sit back, and let them attack us.

I am not defending Torres, i know he's been poor the last couple of games (when he played more than 10 minutes), but Drogba was poor as well a month or so ago. To be honest Torres was looking good before he got that sending off against Swansea. What i was trying to say is that we shouldn't just write him off and say that he is automatically going to play bad, therefore we shouldn't play him. I felt he played poor and he was ineffective. My point is that we shouldn't automatically say he's not going to play well, he could've played well, especially since Wigan was chasing the game.

So what you're saying is, even if Drogba is having a poor game, we might as well keep him on because Torres is not going to do much better. I do not agree with that at all.

Very poor reply. We can all say 'what if' but the fact is we never won. we should all recognise that we played poorly, and Avb made some poor decisions.

The question is, why were we sitting back against teams like Wigan?, i understand we did it against Man city, but wigan... I thought AVB wanted us to play nice, attacking football...

It does make sense, did we beat wigan? It was a mistake that cost us, but the subs were appalling, we decided to sit back to early, when we were only 1-0 up. Overall a dreadful performance.
