  1. Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo- "I don't believe 'Kun' wants to play at Real Madrid."
  2. My god, I really like Agüero. Hope it's just a click magnet headline rather than the truth.
  3. I'm not even convinced of Villas-Boas, a big hype from the British meida, rubbish as always.
  4. The odds: Andre Villas-Boas 2/1 Jose Mourinho 7/2 Guus Hiddink 7/2 Harry Redknapp 4/1 Pep Guardiola 7/1 Marco van Basten 10/1 Didier Deschamps 12/1 Frank Rijkaard 14/1 Rafa Benitez 16/1 Martin O'Neill 16/1 Sven-Goran Erikkson 33/1
  5. Really really gutted. He deserved another season with a proper assistant coach, players. You can't make bread out of shit - even if you're Ancelotti. Thank you for everything, always More Than Special in my eyes. We're turning into Juventus, sad.
  6. Perhaps it's final game for Anelka, malouda etc?
  7. 5-0 demolition job, on away ground. Blue Ultras League One top of the table after first match day.
  8. Problem with english players is that English media does them "a favor" by hyping them to the skies and if they fail, annihilating them the next day. English players are outrageously expensive aswell compared to same skill level foreigners (who just aren't that well known)
  9. 0-2 to the visitors, stupid penalty to concede
  10. Certainly not but he shouldnt go on about saying the same things. New and fresh arguments would be welcomed And the phrase 'shut the hell up' is a bit harsh, dont you think? We can express ourselves in a mannered way also
  11. Lionsden, we know you want CA to be sacked, great, but 71%+ of us don't so stop going on about the same facts/arguments
  12. Would be a great signing, a true winger like player and can come cheap - especially if the Latics get relegated.
  13. End good, all good. One more game, result not important but would be nice to sign off with a draw atleast from Goodison Park. Let's face it, Everton are quality side, especially at their ground. I think all of the players need a good rest, last years World Cup and friendlies, qualifiers (to make it into the World Cup team) has exhausted everyone. Just human, they deserve a rest. I wouldn't pull the trigger on Torres, none of the forwards was better or worse than him, it's a team effort and everyone takes the blame. Really hope Ancelotti stays: Speaking at the post-match press conference, Ancelotti said: "Everyone can give their opinion about this and my job here, [but] it is the club that has to make the decision about my job. "Sometimes I did a good job, sometimes I did better. I think I will be here next season."
  14. Fair result, bad result. Changes needed, wake up
  15. Well done, defenders. Midfield and forwards been poor. We need to shape things up, not overhault but tweak - 3-4 signings surely plus Sturridge, keep Ancelotti, get us an assistant manager
  16. Glad Ancelotti took Ramires and McEachran off, card were only matter of time for them two
  17. Aslong as we get new wingers, attacking midfielder to sort the rotting out in the squad. I hope Ancelotti stays but I think it's increasingly unlikely. Summer can't come fast enough, they all need a rest
  18. Noone could have known that. Face it, we all were excited
  19. Can't be much worse than now. We need to sell Malouda, Anelka perhaps even Drogba so we can bring in talented players, will ease pressure on new comers, make players want to come here (because they'd know that they won't get to play if old guys are still here)
  20. I think referee has been good. The incident with Torres being fouled - he played an advantage but Lampard just shot, so that's a chance gone. That one was our fault, and all the fouls given against us have been fair. Ramires deserved a yellow long ago, with that crunching tackle near Newcastle's penalty box. Face it, we were absolutely rubbish. Ramires-Lampard-McEachran isn't working. McEachran has been in the picture, hasn't done anything necessarily wrong but hasn't done anything spectacular either. Lampard has been the only one from midfield worthy a mention. Anelka has been as always, no spark, bit lazy movement. Torres has been really bad. Today he isn't even bothering to make runs (for example the Cole cross, which was driven in) and made silly mistakes (lost the ball on multiple occasions) On a positive note, Ivanovic has been brilliant in my eyes. I think this game proves that this isn't managers fault. It's the squad - the age, the attitude and the motivation level. I'm sorry but Ancelotti's talk of "don't need many changes" is wrong, we'd be making this mistake all over again, like we've done last season and season before. We need fresh blood, perhaps 3-5 signings (includes Sturridge, he'll feel like a new signing) and letting players go. Personally I just can't see us continueing like this. Frustrating.
  21. But the squad is really good, many star players, we only need a few quality creative players and we are set, no need for an overhaul. In that sense Carlo is spot on with 'Carlo lovers'. In my opinion ' Carlo haters' just try to grab onto anything to mock him..
  22. I'd rather sell Drogba, Malouda and Anelka (would help with all the FFP bs kicking in) then reship Sturridge to Bolton. With Neymar Sturridge Torres Kalou would be nice, perhaps another winger. Kakuta isn't ready for this, he needs to have a proper loan out, the benchwarming at Fulham isn't helping him.
