I'm not against Adam Johnson as an impact player, but as I said above we should have taken him when he was at Boro. Now City would ask too much money for what he can really bring to the team... I mean £20m is too much for him...

For me it's obvious, he is not a 16 year old without experience, he is a 19 years old coming from one the best reserve system in the world and he has the jig (?) suitable for the Premierleague, he is stong and has a great quality for what I hear from. And above all, Villas Boas already wanted him The problem of the game against Loserpool is that Dalglish came with a 5-4-1 shape with an overdensity in the axis of the midfield, I remember we hit a brick wall because the players restricted themselves with the idea of attacking via the axis as we did at Sunderland. The shape was not made to spread the game as would do wingers because there were Lampard and Essien on the flanks of Mikel Dalglish did manage to beat Chelsea with his tactic But the idea is not bad, the complementarity between Anelka and Torres as the complementarity between Benayoun and Nando is so interesting that we need to keep the Anelka behind the striker plan in our minds I founded him disciplined against Thailand all stars on his wing, Vllas Boas said he was pleased by the attitude of the wingers. Under King Carlo he gave free license to his 3 strikers upfront, Villas Boas seems to prefer real wingers. I think it's a matter of tactical instructions because AVB does not seem to lack authority on the players, his plans seems to strike positively the players because there is great responses on the pich Me too Zhirkov can also be regarded as a recruit, he did never play as a first choice but everytime because of the injuries of X or Y (Lampard, Cole...) or the non-injuries of others (Malouda I see you) Now his injuries issues seems to be behind him, he is fresh and spontaneous on the pitch, I feel him confident (he would not have try the volley against Kitchee otherwise) and more than before, when he played the last two seasons as a player that Carlo didn't want above all else Because you are American, you should be aware of the fact that his move collapsed because of the salary cap and the foreigner quota that made impossible for NY and LA an eventual move

I do agree, with a contract as the one the club offered to Ballack, a little "less" wages but more bonuses it's an option And of course as some people said, he would be useful by selling shirts in the world... We have to find sources of income because the Bridge is pretty little and the naming is not necessarly on the agenda (even if it seems to be one of the main target of Fat Ron) I did not know that it could be used in english

Mancini is really stupid... Keeping BARRY and JOHNSON in his team... LMAO Maybe by choice not having to search new players on the market, but it's a good thing for us if he does not consider letting go Johnson !

If you are brave, just separate the letters in photoshop and upload the picture there http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

I do entirely agree

Although I respected a lot Ancelotti, his comminication was horrible... Villas Boas' is much better. The only thing he said about the transfert marker is that the midfield needs to be strenghten after the Pompey game. That's why he pressed in order to get the player he already wanted in Porto, a player with a clearly first team status because of where he comes from He is able to give a revival to some players, he has also the luck to have players such as Josh or Sturridge who are incredibly (Incredible ) talented and motivated so he has just to put them in the best conditions because they already full of energy and envy. Sturridge is the main addition to the squad because of his versatility and his talent, there is no need of putting Pastore by example in the same place than him (behind the striker or on the wing). Chelsea is scanning the market, of course Gourlay is more worried by his naming project or as people said, in selling shirts... But I find Villas Boas very pragmatic. For several reasons it would be stupid to be spendthrift because of the economical situation of the club and with the potential of the young players really emerging now (not as during Carlo's tenure, he said yes to Arnesen's decision to put youngsters in place of Deco, Ballack, Carvalho... whereas he had no intention of playing young players...). Villas Boas seems to give the opportunity to every player, young/old when they can bring something to the team, it's not as Carlo did, even with dead-ends he did not play young players (against Sunderland by example)

Wenger said: : « J’ai vu qu’ils avaient pris Pastore » = I noticed they have taken Pastore

According to RMC Sport it's done... RMC phoned Zamparini who said it's official and that PSG will release a statement during the afternoon, it's between 42 and 43m€ (£35m maybe ?) Pastore is happy because it's the best city of the world and PSG is gonna becoming the best club of the world (LOL). He's gonna earn 4.5~5m€/year and nobody gives a fuck but it's the biggest transfert of la Ligue 1

I know a Tottenham fan who wrote him friendly and Wenger has responded him

It has become common to ask everything immediately, not giving time. We can't say that the team does not need changes, but I personnaly think that change is underway with the venue of Villas Boas. For me he is the 1st signing of the summer, and definitely the most important because of his ideas and his coaching methods The team has not lost as much quality and quantity as last summer, I think the contrary that the squad has been renforced because Benayoun was unused last year, Torres was first of all a turnover possibility before a real offensive option, and we have Sturridge coming from an excellent loan spell at Bolton, Josh which every opportunity to show him was taken by him, we have also Bertrand. Zhirkov (who wasn't Ancelotti's signing contrary as Ramires by example even if he wasn't entirely his decision, he gave his approval because King Carlo was a fan of Rambo) is given a new chance, he was only regarded as a fallback because of the injuries of other players... And now we have a backup of Mikel, Romeu who isn't a complete stranger, he played in probably the best reserve system in the world and he is 19... And the most important thing is Villas Boas skills, what he can do with a squad in terms of psychological management, bringing fresh ideas. By example during the pre-seasons games, Anelka and Malouda were disciplined on their wing. Under Carlo's tenure, he gave free license to his offensive players to interchange during games... And now Villas Boas wants to work with real wingers, and when I see Anelka, a 32 years old during probably his last season in Europe being as disciplined as if he had to prove himself ; when I see Villas Boas get worked up for a single shit choice by Anelka (a poor diagonal ball against Malaysia) in a pre season game... These are small details but that's what makes difference. The team needs concrete refreshment by means of new recruits, but I personally think that a big part of the revival of the squad is some mental refreshement. That's why Villas Boas (even if he is maybe the second choice behind Hiddink) was chosen. But these things dont make themselves in 3 weeks, it needs time ! I personally think this topic as Pastore's is gonna be very funny next year, I'm not as pessimistic as some other people on this forum, I think we can achieve great things with this squad and thanks to Villas Boas' methods.

I do agree, Foster, Ridgewell, Dann and Johnson were incredible during 2 years (only one year for Foster) and especially during the invincibility run of the Brummies two seasons ago. One of the best defences of the Premierleague and surprizingly one of the least publicized...
-
For me he can be even more versatile and complete and has the potential to be a great midfielder in the future
-
Anyway Kakuta isn't ready for the first team yet I think, he would better be loaned out this season somewhere. So we must consider the best options for him, and why not for the club in the same time... ?
-
He is an incredible player, he is full of qualities, very complete and disciplined... Maybe we could sign him in the next 2 or 3 years... He has a great mentality and his progress is lightning for the last seasons. He isn't as good as Parker in tackles but he can do everything on the pitch as Parker (or more !). I'd love seeing Parker back to Chelsea but I would love even more seing McCarthy at Chelsea. Maybe we could make an arrangement with Wigan, we give them Kakuta on a season long loan... ? We have also Conor Clifford, we shall not forget
-
Yes, I think you're right ; Chelsea has to accept the buy back clause but the player has no obligation to accept Barcelona's offer
-
Chelsea have sent Paco Biosca to Colombia to conduct a medical with Spanish midfielder Oriol Romeu. @ChelseaYouth on twitter

Scott Dann is very good in the air, thing where Bruma isn't that good (remember against Ameobi or Heskey). I do not consider Mancienne as a CB but more as a 8/B2B... But the 3 players are comfortable on the ball, even in duel I think Dann is better. Although it was further Birmingham's post Carling Cup troubles, in particular in front of the goal who cost them their relegation ; when Dann was injured, Birmingham defence (who was excellent with Ridgewell or Dann with Johnson) was clearly less solid than before
-
Paris will be happy with him, in France the social contributions are incredibly huge on players wages (that's why the stars in Ligue 1 are Gignac, Bastos or Nene lol). So if they offer the same wages (or more) than Chelsea, they would in reality pay muuuuuch more because of this contributions
-
So now you can return to your forums ? I hope for you that this recruitement will make more enjoyable and pleasant the away matches to Nice or Brest !
-
Peut être que Jean Eudes Maurice n'est pas aussi dégueulasse devant le but dans les matchs capitaux lol
-
I do partially agree, defence is not our main problem. But Dann is an opportunity and he realized two very good seasons, very good partnership with Roger Johnson and one of the best pair of the League. He is more than a second rate. For me Cahill is overrated, yes he is solid in the penalty box but he has many shortcomings for what people and media tries to convince us about him... He has swing concentrations, he isn't a defensive guarantee and he is poor with the ball. THIS is a second rate for me I discovered Holden this season so I watched maybe 10 games of Bolton, and everytime he left me with this impression. For what I saw of Dann, he hasn't the same marking and tactical problems or concentrations issues and he is more comfortable with the ball. He seems also not having the same doubtful mentality than Cahill on the pitch And Dann isn't rated for twice his real value because his international status or I don't know why. Wheater impressed me more during the second half of the season, he is not overplaying

Marseille are also scumbags...
