This was by far our best defensive performance of the season and yet there are people complaining that we didn't do enough. Our defense has been flat out awful for 2+ months and then we go away to Arse and give them nothing and yet many are not happy. Terry was a beast and Azpi put in a great shift. I would like to see more attacking but the side has nobody to punch the onion bag with any regularity, therefore we almost have to play more defensively. We need a goal scoring striker and another center back for me. Azpi needs to be in the starting XI because his play has earned it.

Iva needs to pair with Terry in the center with Cole and Dave. I think that might be our best defense pairing.

May very well been our best match of the season. Lamps was superb and Oscar was flat out fantastic. Great to see Dave playing very well and Iva was strong on both ends. Jose had an idea how he wanted the match to go and sent out a well set up 11and we had no problem with the Hammers.

I hope we go with something like Cech Dave Cahill Terry Cole Rami Oscar Mikel Willian Mata Eto'o

Lets forget Saturday and look ahead to beating Schalke at the Bridge. I would like to see Mikel get a run out and I think he will.

Not our day fellows. This one is really bad.

If you can have a safe place to do it I can't see what the problem would be. Standing seems to be the supporters together and the voice out.

The team needs to be focused as St James isn't an easy place to travel. We need to play with energy and keep the tempo high and the result will come if we do. Cech, JT, Rami, Oscar and Torres are locks, I think. Dave, Willian and Mikel hopefully get a run out.

Very fine performance and nice to see the backups play well.

Great win against big competition. Torres was boss and Rami was everywhere.

A great result in an away game. Torres was fabulous with good support all around.

Oscar was once again a playmaker. JT was excellent except for one play. Mata, Lamps and Rami were very uninspired. Still a good win and 3 points.

Nice win and like everyone else Schurrle was a beast as was Rami.

I know several United fans and all I ever hear is how they have great history. I know a couple of Arsenal and Liverpool fans and one Fulham fan.

Good workmanlike effort and, hopefully, a nice kick start going forward.

Flat out unacceptable, I can't believe Mou can't seem to find the right lineup and chemistry.
