Indulge into the transfer market. You can get a lot of good players for cheap. Just see where your weakness is and replace those 3-4 skill players with 6 skill players. 5 skill players are useful too when on form. I don't think 7 skill players are needed right now, of course they help, but good tactics and a 6 skill team is good enough to beat anyone. You should buy and aim for the following: One 7 skill goalkeeper. (I like to have a strong goalkeeper, gives me more confidence when taking risks.)Three 6 skill defenders.Three 6 skill midfielders.Two 6 skill forwards. All that won't cost much either, I'd say each 6 skill player can be bought for 150,000 to 300,000. Some more or even less depending on age. That should be your starting point, then as you get more money you upgrade the 6 skill players to 7 and so on. It's my first year too, but I think that's the best game-plan for beginners. There might be better strategies out there from more experienced players, but I think this will work well for me.

Another thing I noticed today was that Kalou and Malouda switched wings quite often and it worked very well. Their movement was causing all sorts of troubles. More of that hopefully.

I don't want him to start games until he has shown he can actually help the team, but if you want him to get back to form, I don't understand giving a striker 10 mins. We were up 2 goals. Anyways, I hope Drogba starts again next game, and just hope Torres gets more than just 10 mins.

We don't have to care for Torres' form now. Season is over. The only goal now is to finish 3rd or possibly 2nd. Earlier we needed Torres to find form cause we had CL, but now its just PL and Drogba can carry us through it right now. No need to experiment. Points more important.

Hopefully Drogba starts. Only way Torres starts is if Benayoun is playing behind him, otherwise no point right now.

^ Yeah, I read that article too. It was very good considering both obviously actually tried to analyze the situation rather than just berating Torres. I mean, to be fair, Torres hasn't looked that bad. His effort is definitely 10 times better than it was at Liverpool. The main problem is that, unlike Drogba Torres needs to run on the ball to score. Those kinds of balls he doesn't get cause the midfield is never on the same wavelength. Of course that isn't the only problem as even with the chances he's gotten he should have notched a few already, so that's the confidence issue. Bad start, but the future will definitely be bright. It would be a worry if he wasn't even able to get himself goal-scoring chances, but fortunately that isn't the case. He gets that confidence back and he would have had 3-5 goals already by now.

I haven't watched Neymar a lot, but Sanchez I have watched a lot. I would love for us to get Sanchez because he'll give our team something we haven't had for a long time. A pacy winger that will provide some width. He's very fast with the ball and can pull off his fair share of skill moves, leaving 1 or 2 in his dust and providing a quality ball for the striker. Sanchez also works very hard for the team, he's sprinting the whole game pretty much, tracks back all the time. Neymar on the other hand, won't do much tracking back and even if he does track back, there won't be any conviction in his defence. He's a wonderful talent with a lot of creativity and an eye for goal, more so than Sanchez. They can match up with Torres, especially Sanchez. Neymar maybe would prefer some 1-2s with Torres, instead of making that early pass that Sanchez will try. I think we need both guys to give us some width, creativity and scoring help as I don't see Frank and the rest of the mid providing much goals from here on out.

He'll play on the left side and cut in, that's his best position. He'll beat a few players and either score or lay a few chances on a plate for Torres. Same goes for Sanchez, except he won't cut inside as much and provide much needed width on the right side. Neymar won't track back, but Sanchez will.
