Stoke make it a hard game for anyone, they drew with City last week, this is a good result and Stoke aren't just any team like Reading, Villa, Norwich.

I'm pleased with performance and win, just a shame we had a shit striker upfront. It's been about two seasons now we haven't had our team playing like that, we could string about 10 passes together and actually do something, we just didn't have much chances, we need that danger man upfront, and Torres just isn't it.

It was the same last season on our opening game against Stoke, we played everything through the middle and Stoke where just blocking everything. Kalou instead of being on the touchline was just making runs through the middle.
