I'm just on the wind up at the moment, seems to be working in order. But seriously if you think Chalobah will end up as good as Toure that's just stupid, i bet you any money all the city fans will be pissing themselves laughing if they seen this thread. It's like if a City fan said Devante Cole will be as good as Drogba, think of how many people on here would laughing at that post. I bet you not one person would stop to look at both sides, because that's what most people are on this forum, hypocrites.
-
Chalobah will not be as good as Toure and that's that. You're just dreaming if you honeslty think that Chalobah will be as good as him, you where probably one of the ones who rated that Conner Clifford and thought he would be our next midfielder.
-
McEachran is our most gifted youth player in years, i think he will make it, but the only one. To put Chalobah in Toure's catagory you are just simply an idiot if you think so. Go back to bed, Toure is one of the best midfielders in the world. When i watched youth games Chalobah wasn't that special, McEachran was unbelievable in youth games, his passing and creativity was top notch, Chalobah made a lot of errors and got skinned a few times in the defence, he was over hyped and most people who go on about him haven't even watched him play.
-
Funny thing is, Chalobah will not end up as good as Toure. Despite your arguements, despite your little salvation party going on with huge agreement fest, i would bet a million pounds on it. Toure is one of the best midfielders I've ever seen, McEachran has shown more promise than Chalobah, and even he wont ever be in the same league as Toure.
-
Chalobah is over hyped, he's a good talent but he's not that good. And since when do english players come to be world class? like once in a blue moon. Toure on the other hand is one of the best midfielders I've ever seen, he has the laziest mentallity, but his technical skills are just fantastic, what a player. Easily Man Citys best player, to think Chalobah will be on his level is just dreaming, we say this about any youngster who we hear of in the academy. The harsh part is i bet Chalobah will end up not even having a chance in our team, probably be sold off somewhere in a few years.
-
Yeah because Chalobah will ever be as good as Toure, keep dreaming.
-
No they didn't deserve it to begin with, against Villa City easily paid the referee, and i believe Everton scored a goal when it was called offside when the player was actually onside.
-
I think that's the first winner Torres has actually ever scored for us which has ended up being the last goal. He only ever seems to score when our team has already scored another 3 goals.
-
4 years ago? Wait go on and tell me some more, I'm typing them down in notepad as we speak.
-
Just a question, why the fuck do Barcelona always get the 2nd leg at home? have they ever actually had the 2nd leg not at home?.
-
Koscielny is a fantastic player, i really like him. Great footballer and a good defender, i would love to see him come here.
-
I've heard a better atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, this is fucking diabolic.
-
Not to mention Salomon Kalou got a shit load of game time and was here for ages.
-
The Only Place To Be is some 40 year old stalker, he has been constantly quoting me for weeks and no matter what i shall not respond. I don't believe anything is powerful enough, i could explain everything i know in the best possible detailed way it would change nothing, all the evidence is there but you ignore it. But to look on the bright side, I'm just glad you don't work in our board, god knows how many shite players we would have playing for us now... then again coming to think of it, you most probably do.
-
That's surprising, how about instead of getting back up, you would just swing, because you wouldn't be on the floor in the first place.
-
Yeah that's true, but Arsenal are more fluid than us all round, they are more fast paced. Bayern Munich would give us a good beating if we played our usual game instead of parking the bus, probably just about as big as Aresnal. Despite the game last night, we are still a messed up team, Munich would penetrate us just about everywhere.
-
He wasn't bad, but he wasn't great either, anyone else who would've had a performance like that they wouldn't of gotten as much praise. Ramires constantly dominates the games against Arsenal, yet doesn't get as much credit as Mikel does. I also don't get why you are so suprised with me when you're the ones who can never admit when he plays bad and isn't good enough. I remember when Mikel was playing pure dog shite, this was like november time, and you were constantly digging up excuses no matter what and wouldn't admit that Mikel had a bad game. Times like Juventus for example, when he even said sorry after the game, you just dug up anything and used it as your arguement. Don't try and pin it on me that I'm the one who can't see clearly. No chance, Wilshere/Arteta is a great fluid pivot, Arteta is beast, i really fought he would be a flop for Arsenal but he has been fantastic. Wilshere is starting to come back into it also, he was the only good performer against Bayern Munich. Plus Wenger likes to have pace in all areas, he wouldn't have Mikel in there who can't move.
-
The people who said he will get better in the 2nd part of the season you were not wrong at all. He's adding just about everything to his game now, cracking goal against United, really did give us that edge and a lot more faith.
-
You're the only one taking it personal, what logical answer do you want?. You mean you want me to pick out how poor Mikel has been this season? I believe I've done that a thousand times, so why should i post my old arguements again if you're clearly not willing to read them?. It's obvious you wont listen to any other opinion, no matter if the facts are there you wont listen. Look at Muzchap, he likes Mikel, yet me and him are really good friends, had a few debates wtih him about it, i don't hate him. Since when did i say i hated Mikel? I don't hate Mikel, as a person he seems like a nice guy, so does Kalou, but just because they are nice people doesn't make them good footballers. Fact is we played well and all you have done is overly praised Mikel, and then suggesting that you've proven us all wrong. By that post alone you have shown how short sighted you are and that you're not able to look at the bigger picture, if you seriously look at one performance and think that will win your arguement, then what is the point really?. You can call me stubborn, but I'm really not, the only person in denial and who can't admit when they are wrong is you. I didn't think Hazard would do well for us in his first season, i was wrong and i have even said that Hazard has proven me wrong in the Hazard thread. Many people rubbed it in my face, but you know i got on with it, because i play a fair game. It's evident Mikel has been average at best so far this season, It's evident that we need new midfielders, It's evident that he hasn't flourished despite coming up 26. And the biggest point of all is, the biggest point is that you name me one team in the top 8 what Mikel would get into?, that's a question you have been avoiding for ages because you know the harsh truth.
-
Come on mate, if you got a pat on the head like that, would you seriously go down?. No because he's going down on purpose, I hate Ferdinand but I wont let that blind me.
-
And before that we where losing games with him, in November we never won a single game. It's stupid that for one game he doesn't play bad in you start coming on and try to say 'I told you so' yet you are in no position to say things like that, when I've proven you wrong from the start of the season. Mikel has been playing bad, costing us in games, he hasn't shown that he's the maestro in midfield, our problems are still occuring from there. And i have said that from the start, and I'm the one who still stands by it. You have been roasted on this thread, yet you are that stubborn and delusional that you make stuff up in your head that Mikel is actually good, look at Peace, he had about 20 likes on a post and you had none, not even any of the Mikel fanboys would like your posts. Mikel comes on and we all play well, but that's not all down to him at all. We tend to always come back against United, I've stated that, we didn't give up we showed spirit. But because Mikel came on and we played well you want to give him all the credit, because to be fair it's the only credit you can give him this season. And just for your information, we where outplaying United before Mikel came on. But go on and keep living your delusional ways.
-
No, you are the same, if Mikel does something bad then you simply won't mention it. And as for the good things, which i may add are the tiniest things you praise him, even when we win games he gets all the credit. And the reason for that is, is because it's that bad it's all you can praise him for, because he hardly does anything which is good or effective.
-
I just love how the fact that when the game changes, Mikel gets all the credit. I remember last season, Lampard was taken off and i think it was Meireles or Anelka who was or even where put on in the midfield, and they hardly got any credit for changing the game, when that happened we dominated united and should of came back with 4 goals. That was when Torres missed the open goal, and a lot of other chances, but he still played very well that game, more lively than he has ever looked infact. I actually liked Mikel last season, in AVB system the first set of games he was looking really good. But then once again he dissapointed, even though it was his time to flourish he still couldn't. Untill he starts putting in good games on a consistent basis then i will say i was wrong, but untill then i never see that happening. Infact if anything I've proven just everyone wrong at the end of last season. Everyone said i was an idiot, everyone said how stupid i was, i was the only one who was actually against Mikel being our starter, and now a lot of people agree with what i said, i bet some of them where the ones who even called me an idiot then.
-
You mean like when you said we would all miss mikel at ACON and we didn't? He almost cost us twice with two stupid passes today which where simple, even with the passing he is supposedly good at, he still shows how incredibly weak he is to fit in with the attacking flow. Your earlier statement about how he is not been able to get the game forward because there is no movement, well against United it was some of the best movement we've made all season, 2nd half of course, and Mikel was still giving it away. Honestly Mikel could do nothing all game and you would give him all the credit, if Mikel killed someone you would try to find some way to justfiy it. Am i harsh? yes i am, but you're also too quick to over credit.
-
I hate Ferdinand with a passion, but you can't go on anything from that. He was probably just patting him on the head, footballers do that in every match, just letting them know fair play, probably saying sorry after he clashed with him. Torres going down like that was just stupid, clear dive and he had no reason to go down. If anyone should be punished it should be Torres.
